Stopped for a night and exceeded all expectations. Great location near Memphis. Great location behind commissary and near gas station. Called ahead for reservations - staff so helpful. Camp host met us at RV park entrance. Nicely laid out park in culdesac clusters and backing in a breeze. Nice big level sites. Economically priced FHU site. No bathouse but can use fitness center. Host had info on free laundry on base but didn鈥檛 need it. Experienced famous Beale St downtown. Thanks for having this app - so awesome to have all military campgrounds on one map and details one click away.

Unfortunately there was no way to reserve a much needed spot for the night. The office was closed for the weekend & the host said she had no way to allow us to camp for the night. Pathetic! Less than one star鈥 for kicking a vet out into the streets.
- Retired CMC. Once again disappointed by my own branch.

Site is very clean and organize for a small rv camp. There is a lot of trees that need to be trimmed and cut down. We were told that the bath house was being rebuild but to our surprise is was a double wide trailer that wea being rebuild. I鈥檓 confused with all that they have there they are rebuilding a trailer why not a hard stand. The commissary was great for a small one the base exchange was great had a lot of items could have more rv items. I have been collecting challenge coins from all the base but i asked if they had one here and the gales in the clothing sales store said the command doesn鈥檛 have a coin which is surprising to me.

All around great stay. 45ft Motorhome. Nice cement pads, level and easy access. Camp Host was amazing and very informative. Definitely will stay again.

Great experience. First, the lady who took the reservation was the nicest and best personality I鈥檝e ever encountered.
Super impressed the camp host proactively reached out since I was arriving on weekend. She provided specific directions that was most helpful.
The security was super nice and helpful.
Campground was well kept; level concrete sites.
WiFi was good.
Will definitely stay again.

Nice wide cement pads with picnic table and full hook up. Have to come in the Main gate if after hours or weekend. Main gate is on Navy Road. Camp host was very nice and helpful. Only 4 stars because no showers or laundry, there was a trailer for them but had pad locks on door.

Arrived 6/26/22 on a Class B and was told that I needed a reservation芒鈧ew rule! No reservation , no FamCamp stay! After driving for 8.5 hrs, I芒鈧劉m glad there芒鈧劉s Navy Gateway as Plan B for $88/night! Lesson learned.

We stay a night here traveling from kcmo to fl,it芒鈧劉s really nice and quiet, we stayed on site 24, when we arrived we have to choose our own spot which is pretty neat 芒聺陇茂赂聫it has a pad and we easily park our 2 vehicles. T-mobile signal here is working great. The campsite is near the commissary which is very convenient. We will be back

Stayed here on 7/14/21 for one night. Arrived late at 2130H and camp host (Yvonne) was gracious to come out of her camper to assist me. Parked my Skoolie (20芒鈧劉, 4 window) on space 24 slab. Plenty of elbow room from other campers. Bathhouse is a short walk with free washer (2) and dryer (2). I paid $23 for one night the next day, decided to go to the office as I was heading out, which is located near the Samuel Adams building on Essex and Wasp road. Met with Tyren (sp?) who was very nice/courteous. Will come back here again if I芒鈧劉m in the area.

We stopped here for one night, the staff was responsive and friendly. The Camp Host was very helpful and had a great attitude. The only issue we had was finding an open gate to access the base. The 2 gates easily accessible from the highway were closed.
