Nice park, close to I 40. Lots of kids. Access roads are asphalt but narrow. Pads are paved and level. Spaces are long, up to 80 ft., mostly pull throughs. Plenty of trees. Spaces have picnic tables, fire rings and lantern posts in a small patio.
Spaces are very close together, maybe 20 feet from side of one camper to another. Picnic table is going to be right outside your neighbors window.
Very smoky at night.
Good playground for kids. Nice camp store with extended hours to 9:00 pm.
Electrical system is showing signs of age, connectors are worn for 30 amp and should be replaced.
Good value for your mon

Nice and clean. Wish we had more time to take advantage of all the park has to offer.

I stay here quite often. It is clean and friendly. There are some 30 amp sites in the pull through loop. The new bath house in loop 2 is brand new. It has four separate shower rooms. The shower house in loop one is clean and adequate but only one of the two shower stalls in the men’s side has a bench. Two dump sites speeds things along on busy mornings. There are some nice hiking trails too. Loop two offers a bit more privacy between sites.

Very popular place. Sites are nice. People are friendly. The pull thru sites are 50 amp only, so if you have a 30 amp rv make sure you have the adapter cord, one can be purchased from Dunlop RV a few miles away.

Comfortable and clean. This state park was built in 1937 and shows its age, but that's part of its charm. The helpful park ranger who checked us in said that the entire park was slated for refurbishment in 2016, including the campsites and bathhouses. Definitely will return!

Nice park especially if you are a "senior citizen" off peak times. $12 a night, you can't beat for water and electric. Yes, some of the spots are definitely tight for bigger rigs, and yes, some are uneven in Campground #1, but still a great price for an out of the way place for peace and quiet. Campground personnel friendly and helpful. We were "walk ins" and he gave us a map, crossed off spots that were reserved, and we picked our own.

Tired & poorly maintained campground. Pool is algae covered and closed, though they don't tell you that at check in. Campsites pretty good, Bath houses fairly clean but poorly lighted. Good luck trying to get anyone to fix anything. They seem to be a bit lazy and unconcerned with customer needs.
