Interesting TVA campground on the tail waters of Lake Watauga. RV friendly but the turns coming in and out are tight. Seemed to be mostly long term locals, they allow 21 day stays. Good fishing esp when they open up the spillways luckily the sirens only go off during daytime. Was $20 a night with pass but did have electric and water hookups. Talking to a local and he said it used to be cheaper but the TVA leased out all their sites to a private company which of course raised the rates. Two host couples keep the place immaculate.
