It’s close to interstate so it’s convenient. It’s an attractive park and nicely maintained. Our only problem is the site we had and the site our friends had was extremely unlevel. It appears that they lean to one side and are very low in the back. We had a devil of a time to level our 38’ RV. Our friends said they had the same issue. I would ask when reserving a site to ask for a level site.

Caution! This is not a KOA as identified by this app. This is a journey campground. If I had know it was a journey I would have stayed somewhere else.

Very nice campground. Office staff great and friendly. Concrete patio. Very few small trees (just planted). Nice land scape. Camp site rather small. The new section in the back have no workable Wi-Fi. Small pool.

This was an overnight stay for us. Easy access from I 40, very clean, very friendly staff, and great camping spots. We highly recommend this campground.

Really great place. We are staying on a monthly basis while we get our home built. The new owners are several related families together and they are doing an incredible job updating an already great facility. Verizon speeds are the best I have ever had. Routinely get 40M on up. My wife's phone which does nationwide 5G has seen 80-90M. We routinely stream Amazon and other services without issue on our unlimited plan. The park also has some great walking areas for the dog.

As previous reviewers have said, this is a nice park! New owners fall of 2020 are making more improvements but they got a pretty great campground to begin with. Just a note that this campground is sandwiched between a busy state road in the front and interstate 40 to the rear. All full hookups pull through on concrete slabs are at the front of the park and truck noise from Hwy 70 is pretty constant from early morning until late at night. Those same sites are in full sun as an FYI. The back-in full hookups are likely the quietest as they’re in the middle of the park. The cable and WiFi worked well for us. The facilities are top notch and am only giving 4 stars due to road noise.

This is by far the nicest campground we have been in. Long, level sites. Lots of space between campers. Beautiful scenic area. The host was very nice and led us to our site. Lots of amenities. Will surely be staying here again.

On our way back home stopped here again. As we drove up to the office to check in, a man came out and LITERALLY rolled out a red carpet for us! What a treat! Mark, thanks for the fun welcome!
Same as last time. Newly asphalted roads, concrete pads, looks like new utilities all around. Nice, clean, quiet facility.
