Good, level site so setup was a breeze. Not all sites have full hookups (ours didn’t) but the dump site is in a good easy to use location. Staff was friendly, park was quiet and everyone really stuck to the quiet time rules which was nice. The dog park is very large and clean. Our pups enjoyed that. We spent much more time out of the park than in it since there was a lot to see in a short amount of time. We would stay here again.

The pool is not open and won’t be for a long time. Having trouble with my cable hook up and have been waiting 1 hour. Not very good service. Tried to call and got voice recording and a hang up cause they are full. An outside concern came and fix the problems. They checked their input and mine. My splitter was busted, but the ground on incoming was not good either. I would come back if they had a pool.

Stayed overnight August 2020. Easy access from I-90, located within walking distance of Wall Drug, and close to Badlands National Park. Sites were gravel/paved, close together, fairly level. Dump station was at park entrance. Dog Park area really needed to be cleaned/better maintained, as did the grassy areas in the campground. Office had a nice little store, and bathhouse was clean. Had a quiet night sleep. A bit pricey for what it is, but 3 stars for location.

Overall the campground was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly, but we had some trouble getting a hold of anyone over the phone. I believe this is because they have a small staff. It’s within walking distance of Wall Drug and several restaurants. It’s also next to a train which can be a little annoying at times, but while we were there it was really only active during the day. Spaces are a little small but well maintained. To summarize the campground is flat and generic, but you have the convenience of being right in town. I would stay again.

Stayed one night in Oct 2019. Got there after the office closed so self-checked in. Site was level and everything worked fine. Dirt/gravel pads. Bathrooms and showers clean and functional. Great location just north of the Badlands National Park (an absolute must-see) and Wall is a nice town. A little pricey for off season at $44 but overall was a fine place.

Arrived after 5pm with no reservation and office was still open - yay!! Got a good level pull thru site. Enjoyed listening to the musical church bells tolling 6pm!! Good location close to Badlands National Park. Didn’t use the facilities so can’t comment on that. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again.

We didn’t have any mosquitos, but it’s sort of late in the season. The small laundry was small and not busy, but the driers didn’t dry very well. They have a small dog park. $42/nite was too pricey for what you get. We had full hookups (30A) but they pack you in like sardines and not many sites had shade. I’m not trying to give a bad review, just an honest one.

Level sites, quiet and being able to walk to Wall Drug is the real bonus. The mosquitos were unreal. The park needs to spray.
Just fine overnight

Good stop to see Wall Drugs - BUT the mosquitoes were awful. They really need to spray. Taking the dog out and attacked by bugs. The pool looked dirty - but there were people in it. Mosquitoes were not an issue at Wall Drugs across the street.
