Decent KOA. Our site was level with full hookup. The rv next to us was a nice distance away. Good grass for the puppies. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a lot of road noise. We would overnight here again . We camped in a 40’ class A towing.

We would never stay here again. First, there is constant, very loud road noise (truck jake brakes roaring day and night). Second, the owner and staff need some PR skills. The owner decided that if ones arrives even slightly early, even if the site and RV park are ready, there is an early arrival fee. Even the manager does not have the authority to waive this fee. In our 7 years of traveling, never have we had to pay an early arrival fee for a site that is ready. It would have been an easy PR move to have this fee waived when requested. This place was expensive enough without the fee! Third, even though our reservations were in both (husband and wife) names, they would put only one name on the receipt. Don’t use this KOA if there are two of you are trying to establish domicile in South Dakota. They said it was KOA that did this but we’ve never had this problem before. Our gravel FHU-50 amp pull-thru site was unlevel to the point that wheels on one site were off the ground. Sites have a picnic table but the freeway noise was so loud we felt we couldn’t enjoy it outside. Good internal roads. Trees trimmed high. Without the freeway noice and horrible decisions by the owner, this might have received a higher rating. We were quite happy to leave and our next RV park was lovely.

There are nice people and not so nice people in every work places. Let me just start it like this. This place had a mixture of it. It begun very well. I had placed an order online by mistakenly clicking on electric/water only site for 3 nights. When we got there they accommodated us with 3 night F/H and 3 nights electric/water only. This was absolutely fine and we were grateful for the adjustments they made. Where I have a problem is this. Our slideout broke on our 40ft Class A, this is the biggest and haviest slideout out of the 2 that we have. Because they keep a very tight schedule and they don’t leave any flexibility for their clients, they wanted us to move out of the park. Keep in mind our slideout was out and stuck open due to a broken sheer pin. We were told that we needed to drive our motorhome out of the park with our slideout extended. I was like, whaaaaaa???? I’m thinking if I drive this unit out like this I’m going to create more problems and more money will come out of my pocket, not theirs. I basically refuse to move and didn’t care what they said. After a refusal to move they said that they got a cancellation and that we were able to stay. We were glad for that and made sure we mentioned that to them. We already had a technician set up for the next day to come out and fix the slideout. The next day around 8:30am we received a call from the office, a lady said that regardless we got that unit fixed or not, we had to be out of the park. Sometimes certain people do not need to be working in a people environment because they don’t know how to ask for certain things and they don’t know how to deal with the public and the best thing for them to do is work for Walmart as a stock person where they can better talk with the products instead of people. I’m just being honest here that’s all lol

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting family in the area. Lots of constant highway noise. Very tight spaces. Neighbors behind us where 3 feet away. Men’s shower had copious dried fecal material on the inside of the shower stall door. No fire rings but portable fire pits available for rent for $17 - includes wood. Only some of the sites have sewage hookups.

Nice park with easy off and on to freeway. This is also a negative as it can be loud depending on where is park you are staying. Pool was open and facilities were clean and well kept. Staff was also so very friendly and helpful.

Solid campsite. Very clean. Not flashy. One night stay. Highway was noisy but think of it as ‘white noise’. Cool lil trikes to rent for 30 min $4. Bathrooms and showers roomy. Definitely a solid stop. ~15 min from Falls Park. Would stay here again. Not really a *destination* for us.

This place is nice enough but we were really frustrated. I was told on the phone that my site would have a fire ring. Not ONE RV site has them, trust me, we drove around and looked at all of them. There are a handful of tent spots only that have a fire ring. We wanted to take our kids here to have a camping experience with a campfire. We were mislead and that is why we are leaving a bad review. We ended up going elsewhere after hours because we were so upset. We will be fighting the charge for this campsite as it did NOT provide what was clearly stated to Us!

Nice place to stop traveling through or for seeing the area. Owners where very nice and campground, bathrooms and pool were spotless. They obviously work very hard. There is a nice store on site also. Spaces are what you’d expect at a KOA. Not large but adequate. We stayed in C5 with our 27 ft TT. Gravel site was perfectly level! Only downside of the campground -a little noisy being near I-90. But if your AC is on you won’t notice it. And our site was directly across from the laundry and I could see the light all night long. May have to invest in blackout shades! This isn’t the first time I’ve had this issue. No fault of the park though. Oh, it was terribly windy that say (26-30 mph) but no dust from the gravel! Thank you a pleasant stay😊

We travel in a 32" RV with car. Easy to get to off interstate but very noisy due to traffic. The dog walk area was scattered with feces although the dog "park" (small fenced area) was clean. Although we did not stay in a deluxe spot - concrete patio with gas grill, fire ring, nice furniture and privacy wall - we will the next time we are in the area visiting family. Restrooms were spotless.
