The park was under construction and they were using a bobcat and vibratory road compactor roller every day we were there in the rites right across from our site. There was also quite the domestic dispute in the rv next to us, screaming went on for over 30 minutes…
Even with all this, the park is in progress. I think it will be better in 2026. This year it’s going to be a construction zone. The owner is a very nice guy and actually kicked out the people next to us for their behavior. So that made us feel more comfortable.

Overall this is an ok park. I wouldn’t recommend staying here in wet/cold weather as everything turns into mud. The showers (women’s and men’s) are dirty and the water is lukewarm. Laundry is expensive and machines are small (they are clean). We were going to stay 3 nights but are leaving after 1 and going down the road to a 5 star campground that’s less expensive than here.

Horrible customer service. 1st called to make reservation 2 months in advance. Month before arriving called to confirm and no reservation for us. Get reservation, show up and no longer offer requested campsite we wanted, but no call about changes. Made arrangements elsewhere with a campground that was great. Went in to cancel reservation and owner argues with me and says they have no record of deposit or request for campsite type. Never again. Went down the road to nice campground with great amenities and ended up costing less.

Level spots w very few trees. Convenient location to Rushmore and Black Hills. Bathrooms very outdated and $20 of PVC could make shower head tolerable. Location feels a bit like camping in your backyard. Fine for a couple nights. Full hookup good.

Very clean even though it’s an older campground well-maintained, owner was awesome and very friendly. It is close to everything.

Very nice stay at this campground. We met Bob in the office and felt very welcomed. He too explained the area and sites to visit. Easy access by all rig sizes. We were only in the area for one night but wish we could have stayed longer. We were in a 34’ fifth wheel.

Nice CG in good location close to Black Hills but not too close. The owner is very friendly and helpful to the point where he gave us a 10 minute briefing on where to go and what to see in the area. He also wanders the campground occasionally just to chat with the guests. We didn't use the facilities so won't speak to that. Free coffee in the morning. Good utilities (electric, water, sewer). Decent Wifi. Good access to Mt Rushmore area. We would definitely stay here again. We are in a 36' Class w Jeep Toad.

This is a great campground, close to Rapid City and the attractions South including Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park and wind Cave The owners are really great people and will help you with everything.

We came in with 34ft RV and hook ups with elect and water was easy access. You have to drive 10 ft to dump as they have a dumping station for all who stay to use. Wifi is ok, but hard to use for Netflix. They have DVD rentals for you to rent for the kids. Small swing area for the kids. Next door has a little cowboy town for you to explore. They have dinner and show for $21.99 for adult and $14.98 for kids if you don't want to cook. However, I thought it was too expensive.
Showers/toilets were clean, they have a laundry mc for you to use. We stayed one nite at this location, for 2 adults and two kids, cost total was $38.69 with tax.
