Now this is what I call a great RV park. Large lots, you can have a campfire, they sell wood, they even rent cars! All the people were super nice. I saw the comments about small showers and that person must have been huge! The showers were not that big but certainly not small and I have seen all sizes, the shower heads were more than high enough for me and I am 5芒鈧劉9芒鈧 and I am a hefty guy and I had no issues... well maybe the fact that the bench was a bit high... sigh... I had to find something wrong! And yes not all sites have cable but so what just check when you make your reservations... so many other campgrounds don芒鈧劉t even offer cable!
If I come back to this area I am coming back here... you should too!!!

Fairly typical of KOA, BUT be aware that only about 1/3 of the sites offer cable.
Bathroom/ Showers are designed about a foot too small. You bump into everything, doors walls, stall enclosures, etc.
Shame to have all this land and offer such a poor design!
Will we stay again? Yeah, probably

This is the second time in as many weeks we have stayed at this KOA. It is a good location for Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park and other popular tourist destinations. However, their idea of a premium site varies depending on when you make your reservation, apparently. Our first reservation was made many months in advance and we were provided with a site with a paved pad, a concrete patio and patio furniture. Our second reservation (our plans changed due to health concerns) was made with three days notice. Our second site while long enough for our motorhome and tow vehicle is a gravel pad no patio no furniture for the same price! And as typical for a KOA The Internet bandwidth does not allow for the number of people using devices at the park, even with 4 possible signals to choose from there is still no service. Our present site is located under a node we are still on able to log onto the Internet.

Well-run, clean park. Premium sites are paved with grass between sites, but high-priced for this perk. Sites are policed daily for trash. 5 min. from downtown, convenient to monuments.

Nice, large park, well maintained, friendly staff. Surprisingly quiet given how many sites there are. Well located, close to town and easy to get to Mt. Rushmore. Cold shower one morning and lukewarm the next; not great for the price you pay there. I did not speak to them about it, not sure if this would be typical. Pool is nice and very clean.

We thought this was a good KOA. Nice staff. Level lots, some trees, seemed like most sites (except the primo sites) all had a wooden shaded set up with the picnic table which helped with that afternoon sun. Real clean bathrooms and good showers. I did 2 loads of laundry @ $2 a washer and all was good. They also had a kitchen sink set up which was nice to do dishes. Pool was still open and very nice. Had eggs, bacon, and all you can eat pancakes there one morning. Kids would like the game room. A few grocery necessities stuff was available. We'd stay at this one again if in the area. We were in a travel trailer.

Nice park. Would have given 5 stars but due to lack of gravel we had a 6' x 2' mud hole right out side the driver door in our spot. Did not see any other spots with mud holes. Would visit again.
