Decent enough campground, a handful of prime sites have excellent lake views.
If you’re not familiar with South Dakota State Parks note:
The campsite, with electricity, is $23 a night. That’s what it’s worth.
But then it’s phone reservation only and there’s a $10 reservation fee.
And then, an $8 daily fee just to be in the campground.
You now have a $40 a night electric site.
Decent AT&T service

We love camping and use Buryaneks often--6 campers in the family, It is a shame that the area, gr [bad] and weed control and brushy growth along the rivers edge aren't better kept. The potential for a GREAT campground is there just not taken care of. Snake Creek area is much better cared for. Charge the same price as Snake Creek if the care is the same. We love camping and the beach area is nicer than at most of SCreek.
