Camped here one night Tuesday Sep 27, 2022 w/o reservations; lots of availability. Nice electric sites overlooking the lake with decent separation from neighbors. Clean modern bathrooms/showers. Good opportunities for boating, fishing, etc, despite the lake level being down.

Great place for free. A few boats on the lake during the day. Very dusty and of course the usual amount of flies and mosquitos. We came just before the Sturgis Rally, so not a lot to choose from in and around downtown due to the jacked up prices. Still don’t understand how they booked Snoop Dog to play at a biker rally. The world is definitely coming to an end.:-/

This is a nice little campground wide open area surrounded by the Belle Fourche reservoir with good fishing and nice weather.. there was some hidden fees coming in if your nonresident to South Dakota.

They helped us twice, over a year, with both bodywork and electrical problems. They got us back on the road quickly. Great classic small town service

The South Dakota parks are truly remarkable. Beautifully designed, exceptionally maintained, very unique in every way. The reservation system (required) is easy and pleasant. We stayed at the Lake Louise park one night and then Rocky Point park the second and loved both. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.
