We have stayed at this KOA 3 times. The last time under new ownership, noted improvements. I spoke with management and they were very interested in my thoughts on the campground Clean facilities, friendly, helpful staff. Shady, level sites. Great location Camped in a 27ft class A motorhome towing a Jeep xhf

Deducting one star for the water which tasted terrible, even when filtered once through a hose filter and again through a Brita pitcher. Other than that, we had a nice stay. Conveniently located near Badlands National Park. Friendly staff.

I usually don't rate KOAs high because I find them over-priced for what they provide. But this one is an exception to my rule. It was A+ in all ways. Site was adequate for my 38 foot trailer and there was a parking space across from my site for my truck so I wasn't cramped. Bathrooms, Showers and laundry were A+ clean. Staff was super friendly and escorted me to my site. Also, they make FREE pancakes every morning for all campers which was just above and beyond. If you're going to Badlands NP, this is the place to stay.

Stayed one night, had a great stay. Nice park, very close to the Badlands. Really appreciated the full service after being on the road for a few days. The area gets pretty hot so I picked it for the electric hookup (AC). Never turned it on, since it cooles down nicely. Kids slept outside in their hammocks.

If you are going to spend at least a few days in the Badlands, prefer a clean & well kept campground, very good wifi (and cable) and want electric & water (and sewer) hook up at a reasonable price, this is the place. We really enjoyed the location, which is the furthest campground from the park proper, but everything is so close it was not inconvenient at all. We used the laundry facilities, clean and well kept, dump station is easy to get in and out, sites are crowded but surprisingly spacious as well as level. Lots of trees which is nice for shade, maybe not so nice during one of those infamous south dakota storms. RVs mingle with tent here but mostly tenters are in tent-only locations. Friendly & helpful staff too.

Typical koa. Great dog park. Pretty much as other have said. If you want a campfire, be sure to check availability of firewood.

Did not stay but saw when visiting the Badlands. By far the most attractive Campground in the area (It is on the White River so there are a lot of trees)
