I stayed 5-28, 29 and 30-2025. Nice little campground, my site did require a few leveling blocks, but not bad. It is a long narrow CG with steep hills on either side with lots of pine trees and tall grasses around. Spacing of sites varied quite a bit. My site (35 - must have a smaller rig) was separated from others by quite a lot, but others were relatively close to each other. Nearly zero cell coverage with Verizon. I did manage to intermittently and randomly receive and send a very few, very short texts with no links/attachments or emojis. But, the signal was fleeting, I might get a text and then not be able to reply as the signal immediately vanished. I have Verizon and even using the cell booster helped only slightly. You could get wifi at the Visitor Center. I did not check out the restrooms, but there were several available scattered throughout the CG. Nicely maintained sites. Very nice friendly camp hosts. No dump station, but there is a free dump and potable water in Hot Springs at the Mueller Center.

First come, first served. It was surprisingly full by noon, midweek in September. Very open, few trees in the loop we were on. Roomy campsites, although some of the parking areas are rather short. No cell service at camping site but I had two bars if I climbed to the top of the hill. Two nice trails that dogs were allowed on.

Great NP campground. Primitive, and no showers but good for one night. No cell phone reception, so one star off.

Spent 3 days here in Late May exploring the caves and Rushmore. Very quiet and remote. Forget cell service. some sites are not very level. Park was never half full when we were there. It is off the beaten path. Of course, it was quiet! Park was clean and we could take the dog on a couple of trails approved for pets.

The campground at Wind Cave NP is wonderful. The restrooms are clean and the sites are well-maintained. We stayed there for four days and it was very quiet each night. There is plenty of room in each site and lots of space between sites. My only negatives would be that there is no hot water in the bathrooms and the water had a VERY strong chlorine taste, so we brought in our own drinking water.

Stayed in July 2017 with a 25' TT. Nice CG, quiet with clean restrooms. Not sure why it never fills. No cell service, but wifi at the visitor center.

Nice campground in a great location, just a mile or so from the NP Visitor Center. Well appointed sites with spotless bathrooms. A nice firewood station at the entrance and not crowded. The bison and elk were visitors in the evening and it was very quiet!
