One of our favorite one night stops on a long road trip. Friendly, helpful staff. They cook breakfast to order with reasonable prices. We ate in the outdoor patio area near a fire pit. Gravel sites are in the trees and vary a bit( some are tight due to the trees) but are flat and well maintained. We had no problem maneuvering our 30 ft trailer, but did verify the space by phone before getting there. Cute store in the office area. Close to town and gas.

Stayed one night in Oct 2019. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Got a nice level sight and didn’t experience any of the power problems mentioned in previous reviews. Everything worked fine. Showers and bathrooms were very clean. Laundry facilities worked great. Will definitely stay again when we come back through the area.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Restrooms and showers were in good shape. Great place to use as a base for the local sights. The only downside was the power. Non stop issues with spikes and drops and even power kicking off.

Really wanted to give them 5 stars because they were extremely nice and friendly. Site was level and comfortable. Very neat and clean operation. However, electricity is a problem. The power filter on our motorhome would not allow a connection. Did test at the port and current was not even. Ended up by passing our filter and had to sweat it out. At one point power went off completely. Just be careful.

Great stop! We pulled in last night, no reservation, holiday weekend, and they were full!! They could see we were worn out after a long day of traveling and site seeing. The staff were so helpful and made every effort possible to help us. We ended up dry camping but were offered use of their facilities. I used the shower which was immaculately clean and we used the wi-fi which worked very well. They have a nice little fenced dog park which our pups were pleased to find after being cooped up most of the day. The pool looked very refreshing and clean (we didn’t try it however). I would definitely recommend this KOA!!! As for the previous negative comment about the power, there was a notice in the bathhouse to only use one hairdryer at a time which is totally reasonable!

Don't stay here if it's hot. Poor power supply. Power went out for about 2 hours in 98 °. Only 1 hair dryer at a time in smelly bathroom

Big rig friendly with sites in the back (farthest from highway, which was nice). Very friendly owners, nice but small store, also make pizza. Very hilly for walking, but OK. Good base for Black Hills, and don't miss the Mammoth Site in Hot Springs. You also drive thru Wind Cave Natl. Park to get to Custer. And that is a beautiful drive with lots of wildlife.
