Great campground. 16 miles outside of Hill City. A bit of a drive, but a great retreat after a full day of sightseeing. The Highway to the FSR is paved in good condition but there is a very dusty dirt road to the campground. Sites are level and spacious. Dispersed camping, but we use solar and are fully contained. Water is available and there are pit toilets. Camp-host is a great guy who picked out a site overlooking the lake. We are a 45' mc with a tow.
