This is a kids resort more than a campground so just know what you are in for. Pros: tons of kids activities and tons of kids for making friends. More activities than I have ever found for kids. Started early and went late - around 10p closure. Everything was open and busy enough you were never alone but never had to wait around. Cons: very crowded sites. They put our 35’ trailer on a 37’ site and expected us to park on our grass. If you want more space just tell them your rv is closer to the site size you want. Back in spots appear to have the most space. Everyone has table and fire ring but we had to move our table because it was literally on top of neighbors sewer connection. As others have mentioned bikes and kids running everywhere but that is why you are there. You MUST go very slow and expect someone to jump out without looking because they have right away in a place like this. It is huge so might want to consider golf cart rental if you have mobility issues. All said: know what it is and go have fun!

We showed up on memorial day and the crowd was moving out, not too bad over the week. Everything is as advertised and the kids had a great time, could’ve spent days just messing around in the campground. The staff was very nice and helpful, no complaints. Cell signal and WiFi are not great, but we had so much to do we sorta forgot about it. Definitely would stay again!

Great resort style campground! Stayed over a holiday weekend and yes it was crowded, but that's what you expect at a campground like this. Tons to do for all ages and very close to Rushmore. Would have given 5 stars except internet did not work at all, even at the advertised hot spots. Will definitely make a trip back.

Plenty of amenities for kids and adults. Campground is extremely noisy and too much traffic/crowded. Head needs to be on a swivel so you run over any kids or adults on the roads, too many ATVs/UTVs, bikes all over the place. If you want a hectic stay, this is the place. Internet advertised is as good as it was in "1984" (i.e., non existent). Not a signal for cell data or a single bar for wifi, to include their shops and advertised areas.

Pricey but tons of amenities for adults and kids and very close to Mt Rushmore. Water slide, 2 pools, splash pad, lake, restaurants, entertainment, high end restrooms/showers, shuttle to Rushmore for a fee. Horrible Wifi even when at the hotspots.

The koa camping directory listed so much neat stuff we thought we would enjoy this park. Sadly I was wrong. Horrible internet even though the directory advertises it. Water slide was closed and a camper told us its been closed for years. They charged $3 each for our dogs. We have never been charged for our little boys at any park we've ever stayed at. We are koa card holders but this very expensive, overcrowded park will never see our business again.

Wifi absolutely worthless, could only get online (slowly) when sitting at the registration office. Otherwise, a very nice KOA. Even a bit more overpriced than most, but pretty well maintained and extremely close to Mt. Rushmore.

Staff was nice and very helpful, facilities were clean and maintained. Only issue we had was way too much traffic and speeding in the park and noisy ATV's everywhere. Nice place but probably would not stay here again.
