Management is great. Clean and well maintained. Low water pressure. Would be a 4 is the sites were not so cramped.

Stayed there a few days with our 35芒鈧劉 5th wheel. A bit tight to get in, road access can get washed out but great private views. Staff was great.

Although the location is great, most everything else wasn't. We stayed the 2nd week of June, 2021 and the bathrooms were dirty at most times of the day, the garbage dumpster was stinky and over flowing, and the camp ground roads were super dusty. I also thought the sites were smallish. If you do choose to stay there for more than a day, we advise you to stay towards the back of the park. On a positive note, we love the black hills and South Dakota.

Excellent campground. Sites 25-30 feet apart, many with shade trees. Picnic table, fire rings. Staff super friendly and very helpful with extensive local area knowledge. Large dvd selection for rent. Nice playground and pool. Very quiet setting among pine trees. Highly recommended.

Beautiful peaceful location with large sites and trees. We were on site 25 and felt like we were camping alone in the woods with views of the mountains and a meadow full of flowers & birds. Truly heaven! The only negative was very little cell service (Verizon) and spotty WiFi but the peace & quiet far outweighed the lack of being 芒鈧揷onnected.芒鈧 Definitely would return!!

One word to describe this campground....FANTASTIC. We were originally going to stay 4 nights, but extended our stay to a total of 11 nights. The owner, Mark, is gracious, helpful and kind, as is his entire staff. The laundry room is clean and priced like others we have seen during our travels. They take great care in keeping the grounds looking nice and fresh. Great location for visiting the many historical attractions in the area and yet secluded from the highway. We found the gravel sites to be level. We WILL be back here again for an extended stay.

This was a great campground! The sites had some space between them and the shower house was newer and very clean! The WiFi is spotty even when you are near the office. Verizon service was very weak too - but that was true in most natural areas of the Black Hills.
Above all, this campground is perfectly placed in a peaceful valley on the Needles Highway. Such a great stay!

This is a nice campground right at the base of the 芒鈧揘eedles Highway芒鈧 and all the local attractions are only a short drive away. The sites are average size for a private campground. Some of them are a little tight to get into for campers larger than 30ft. Water pressure is good and electric is decent except for maximum draw in the summer afternoon. Most sites have downhill sewer hookup but mine is a little uphill. (Site 18) but overall I芒鈧劉m happy with the site. WiFi is available but spotty and cell service is VERY spotty (Verizon). The pool is small but lots of kids playing and enjoying. A camp store/main office is located right at the entrance. Bathrooms are clean and the shower facility is nice. I芒鈧劉d stay here again.

Peaceful location within the Black Hills. Pool is small; however the kids enjoyed it. Bathrooms/showers were very clean for the age of the facility and well maintained. Opportunity for all size RVs and some tent camping with their own fire pit. Owners/staff are very friendly and their gift shop/store offers opportunities for a souvenir and/or last minutes items.

Great campground run by some very friendly folks.
Pros: quiet, secluded, woodland area, Clean bath house, heated pool, beautiful area, centrally located in the Black Hills,
cons: Intermittent wifi (minor issue when you consider we are camping, do I really need it?)
The couple next to us totaled their care about 30min from here when they struck a deer on their way in. The owners went to get them and towed there trailer in for them.
