Big rig friendly campground right off highway. Noise is not too bad. Good 50amp service, water, sewer, cable, and wifi worked! It is gravel sites with grass between sites and dirt roads through park. It poured rain for three days straight. Yes, there was some mud...it happens. What I saw was every time it was a little dry, park maintenance was working the roads and sites to smooth them and replace gravel. The staff was friendly and sends you welcome and pre-departure emails. Good park for easy access to Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park and more. Bonus...Flying J 1 Mile away had best price around on fuel. Camped here in a 40 foot motorhome.

Rained a lot while there & campground was a muddy mess. Need to repair roads between sites & also make them wider. Tight fit to get RV out. My truck was even hit by someone that was pulling into their site. WiFi terrible/useless. Pricey. Nothing around except convenience store & pizza place. Bathrooms not clean & showers were unisex. No parking at restrooms or laundry rooms. Since it was muddy no way to walk to laundry room with laundry/supplies. Parked there just long enough to pick up my wife & clean laundry & was reprimanded for doing so. Will not go back or recommend.

We stayed here last year for 5 days. Came back for 3 weeks. This park is well maintained, great staff and good location for a lot of things to see. It is a little ways to Rapid City (17 miles) but not that bad. They honor PA discount for unlimited days. Swimming is a little small for number of people but well maintained

Not bad if you have no where else to go. They list a heated pool and a hot tub but they neglect to mention it doesn't open till May 1st. Nothing here and it is a lot to pay for a parking spot. Won't be back

Great place to stay for overnight or a few days. Staff extremely helpful. Full hookups, reasonably priced and very clean. Swimming pool was very refreshing. They could use a few more trees for shade as it was extremely hot there in July. Will recommend this park to friends.

Clean park but it have two complaints.
1. Due to the small lot size, the neighbors sewer connection sits right next to the picnic table.
2. We smelled strong sewer smells in many areas of the campground but could never determine the source.

Pros: Swimming pool (we never used it), nice laundry room, clean, friendly staff, convenient to Badlands and Rushmore
Cons: Nothing there. Out by itself. No shade. Wifi useless. Kind of blah. It's a parking lot with strips of grass.

We had stayed here just after it had opened for the season. The campground is clean & well maintained. We stayed here a few days so we could hit the tourist hot spots in the area. Worked for us & we enjoyed our stay here (may 2016)
