We were at Buffalo Ridge for four days in late September, 2022. It is a first class facility almost in the center of the town of Custer. Beautiful grounds and a well laid out park. The facilities (laundry, Showers) were all first class. Why not five stars? Our camping site was very unlevel, so much so that we used our auto level and had to buy a step stool to get up into our RV. The picnic table was so far away we had to carry it back to our site. These are details that earn 5 stars that must be attended to. Not all sites were unlevel but there were quite a few.

Beautiful, spacious park. Our very lengthy pull-through accommodated our 45芒鈧劉 coach and tow car with plenty of room left over. The scenery is sensational throughout the park. Strategically located for easy day trips throughout the Black Hills, including Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, the Needles Highway, Deadwood and more. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely beautiful park. Under new ownership and all the changes they have made are absolutely fantastic. This was our first time to the Black Hills and I researched many different campgrounds in the area. This park blows them all away. Beautiful pools, kid friendly, cute store, staff is super friendly and attentive, campground is spotless, shower houses are perfect. Couldn芒鈧劉t ask for a better stay in the Black Hills area!!

This is definitely a 5-star park, especially for South Dakota. Possibly the nicest, most upscale RV Park/Resort in South Dakota. Absolutely nothing to grouse about. We already have our reservations for the summer of 2021.

Shall I be EVIL and LIE and give a BAD REVIEW so I can keep this wonderful place for myself??? Can芒鈧劉t do it! This must be the BEST PLACE EVER. 冒鸥陇陋 Depending on what you芒鈧劉re looking for, this place has something for everyone. Tents, cabins, RV pull-through, cabins, tps芒鈧漞ven TREEHOUSES! Our site was ample for our 24ft Class C, pulling a motorcycle trailer. The amenities were GREAT 芒鈧 the laundry & bathrooms clean (albeit our dryers didn芒鈧劉t work 芒鈧 but fret not! We just went to another laundry a short distance away). And that DREAMY POOL. 冒鸥陇陋. The staff were really nice, too. Really convenient to town, and all the 芒鈧搈ust-see芒鈧 sites nearby. So yeah...don芒鈧劉t go here. Leaves more space for me to COME BACK!

Best location and park to stay in Custer area. Quiet and scenic up on a hill with beautiful views. Some sites are a little rough but ours was great. Top notch facilities with large private restrooms/showers. I really appreciated the awesome huge laundry rooms. New pool was just about done but in September it was too cold for swimming. Only complaint was the lack of light at entrance and was hard to find at night.

Under new ownership and lots of changes in the works; new pools, new expanded RV sites and new cabins. Unfortunately not everything is ready for guests (pools) some of the restrooms and roads(with rain lots of red mud). The roads and sites are narrow for today芒鈧劉s RVs and the utility placement is not ideal. However we did talk to management and they asked for honest feedback so I told them everything listed here. Will we go back, yes if roads graveled or paved as it is a beautiful area.

Has to be one of the best parks we've stayed at. Were there 3 nights while exploring the area. Super nice, plenty of space, VERY clean showers (6 separate rooms right next to our site) and nice laundry. Huge green area to walk pets with a playground. Helpful, welcoming staff. Definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay here while exploring Black Hills and Mt Rushmore. Staff is very friendly and helpful. RV camp sites are a bit small but all are pull thru and we're paying $35 a night for full hookups (with Good Sam discount). Definitely kid friendly with a pool, a train, play grounds, mini golf, etc. The bathrooms are well kept and nice as are the overall grounds. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.
