There cancellation policy is heartless and unreasonable. If you cancel in less than 10 days, you pay for your entire reservation in full. Not just a deposit but the entire stay is charged. I had to cancel because my wife was unexpectedly hospitalized. That cost me $244. This campground profits off the misfortunate circumstances of their customers. I find this abhorrent.

We have stayed here twice and will stay again. The owners are excellent and truly care that you have an enjoyable experience at their campground. Bathhouses, laundry are clean. Sites are level and shaded. Full hookups. It’s nice to be welcomed with kindness after a long day in the road. 27ft class A towing a Jeep

Wonderful campground. Beautiful pine trees and sites. We were in a 36’ motor home towing a car. Lots of grassy areas for dogs. Even a playground for kids. Facilities were open but we didn’t use. They will deliver a bundle of firewood for $5. Very friendly owners. We stayed four nights. Would return.

Really great campground! The owners were incredible. They helped us get situated, delivered firewood to our site and went out of the way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I forgot my power adapter and the owner searched his personal garage trying to find me one, then offered to drive me to town. Really excellent customer service. The grounds are well kept, the bathrooms and shower house was one of the cleanest I've ever seen. Beautiful hills and pine trees make this a place you will want to stay! We stayed three days and my kids wanted to stay a month. You will not regret staying here super close to custer state park and mt rushmore. Highly recommend

New ownership and what a great couple. Amazingly accommodating. At this point, this was the nicest campground we’ve stayed at on this trip. Very nice!! (Bathrooms are awesome!)

Big Pine Campground is a great campground in the Custer area. Its about 2 niles from town. It’s one of the few RV campgrounds with full hookups that feels like you are in the woods and not an RV Park. Ron and Angie (owners) are super nice folks. Ron escorts every camper to their site and assists with getting them backed in and setup. Delivers wood to your site anytime during business hours. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. As mentioned by others, the WiFi is very good for a campground. We have Verizon and service is great. We’ve stayed at this campground multiple times over the past 4 years in a 35 ft Class A towing Jeep and a truck camper towing trailer. Sites available to accommodate about anything you have. Definitely recommend.

Owner/Operators Ron & Angie are just plain good folks. They consistently treat every guest like old friends and really care about the quality of your camping and overall vacation experience. The campground is well maintained and restrooms/showers show their pride of ownership. And no matter how busy, they always seem to be enjoying themselves and their guests. The host and hostess with the mostest and a great base camp to boot.

Pride of ownership really shows here. The hosts are caring and the park is well-kept. Bathhouse is spacious anf clean and sites are well-dispersed in the pines. Veterans discount and recycling were appreciated. We were in a class B camper van and would definitely return.
