We loved this park. Wide spaces, green grass, shade trees and a lake. Bathrooms are kept very clean. Onsite hosts are super nice. Love walking to the lakeside (about 100 yards) every morning and watching the fisherman launch. It’s a great park. Also, check out nearby Chamberlain for great views of the Missouri River and a few restaurants. Laundromat located in Chamberlain as well. We stayed I. Site 23 and had a good view of the lake.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have been to. It is VERY clean, large space for each site, wide open areas, shade for each site. It’s just beautiful... you can fish, fish cleaning station. The camp hosts are also very nice. At $18 ($9 of senior), this is the BEST VALUE! Love it! Don’t say the Federal Government doesn’t do anything for you!

Only open May 1-October 1... this is a federal campground, so you would normally reserve at www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877–444-6777. But if you just want to find out if they have any walk-Ins available, you can call the onsite fee shack at 605-245-2173. Bottom line, this is a wonderful campground.

another lovely COE CG...our favorites! Elec only sites with water available in loops. HOT SHOWERS! nice level sites....shade screens at each site....disc golf...horseshoes...beautiful lake. We had great Verizon cell and 4G. sites are large. It was a little windy every day but I think that is just how it is in SD. $9/night with the America the Beautiful pass. WE would definitely come here again.

This is a very nice and clean campground. It is small but we were able to get our 45 footer and toad in without much of a problem. It can get windy here because of the lake but it’s well worth the stay and the people are absolutely super. They went out of their way to help make sure we had an appropriate site. When you come in if you come in from A northerly direction on highway 47 (exit 248 on I90) you will experience a very, very sharp right turn into the campground area. We made it fine with our 45 footer but just be careful. Highly recommended we would definitely come back if we were in the area
