Nice spot, no cell or internet, so a bit isolated. Liked going to the beach and spending day at the lake. August 2024

Amazing stay! Beautiful views and the friendliest people. Only stopped in for a night but would stay longer

We’ve stayed here twice with our fifth wheel. First weekend was ok, second time was over this Memorial Day weekend. Both times we’ve pulled into our spot and there was bits of trash around from previous campers. Beach had cigarette butts, dead fish rotting, a towel that sat there for 3 days at least, glass bottle sitting in the sand, I found metal tent spikes half sticking out of the sand. Bathhouse was ok Friday, but it was obvious from the piles of trash they didn’t enter it until Monday when I told them it was completely empty of soap and tp. My kids had a blast though and were none the wiser to the disarray.

Great sites, friendly staff, quite and secluded on a nice cove. They offer boat, paddle board rentals. Clean bathouse, fire rings, and a small general store. I'd stay here again.

lot has changed good now

This has to be the all time worst campground in the military system.
Between the filth of the site(cigaretts everywhere, broken bottles in the fore pit).Teied to rent a paddle boat and was told that they were having a race with them, something that never materialized. To the loud music until two in the morning this place is to farfrom a military installation to be managwd properly. My suggestion is to push this plaxe into the lake and lock the gate. A true waste of government money.
