Fantastic campground! Directions are spot on, we used Apple Maps. I’m so glad I chose Cypress campground over Lakeshore!!! We drove to Lakeshore to check it out and so many sites were full of tree roots and holes. Cant imagine getting a rig over 30 feet in any of the sites. When checking in you can go to your site first then check in at visitor center. Bathroom and shower was great! Hot water and good pressure.

Site 45 is the best. Not only Lake View but Lake Access! Lake access for an rv with a LAB… priceless! Showers were great!

Loved our stay at Santee State Park! This was a super relaxing campground. Very quiet & peaceful. Sites were very spacious & big rig friendly. Highly recommend and would definitely go back. Also a great place to stay when visiting Congaree National Park!

Camped at site 40, a pull through site. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Showers were good and a little bit of TLC would make them very good. The wooded sites provided nice ambiance and the lake view didn’t hurt. Drove my Jeep down to the Lakeshore campground and found the road through the campground was badly washed out and rutted in some places. My Jeep made it through but I would not take my MotorHome on that road. Too bad because the campground itself is lovely. .

This a beautiful park, sites are relatively large and level at the Cypress View campground. Paved roads throughout. Big rig friendly. Not the case with Lakeshore view campground. Not paved, tighter, pot holed roads in, and sites much smaller. Would not take my 32-ft fifth wheel in there. Lots of tents! This is one of those parks that can be completely full on weekends because of easy access to Lake Marion. We came in on a Saturday right after 4th of July and it was packed. The next day, we were practically the only ones there. It is easy to get in and out, if you stay in Cypress View. Dump station is at the entrance. The worst part, the bathrooms were dirty and not well maintained. No laundry facilities. Nearby Santee and Elloree do not offer much, except gas stations. Do your laundry somewhere else! Park staff are friendly and helpful.

Great layout. Lots of space between sites. Get a spot with a lake view. Be careful with a long rig - the pull through sites are full of trees. Our 38’ couldn’t fit, and we had to back it anyways. The bathrooms were gross.

Nice State Park on Lake Marion. Sites are clean and fairly level. Gravel sites with 30Amp and water. 2 handicap sites with concrete pads. Class A’s will fit on several of the sites and the camp store, boat ramp and lake access are nice. We stayed 2 nights and I would definitely stay here again.

This is a nice play to stay for a night or two. The wifi is available near the office and at a small building nearby the office. I couldn't receive in the campgrounds. No full hookups.

Very nice park. Staff was very friendly. The one thing we did not like was all the stray cats. At one time there were about 7 of them trying to get into our RV. Plus the fight and make noise all night. Besides the cats great fun park

Great park, with lots of opportunities to bike, walk and boat. There is no great swimming area, but we brought kayaks and a jet ski (there are 2 boat landings, and kayaks can go in lots of places close to camping areas. Bathrooms were clean and convenient. Saw deer everywhere but no problems with animals in trash. We'll be back again.
