We have stayed there several times when visiting my son, who lives in the area.
It芒鈧劉s a clean and very nice campground, with a nice big lake to fish, that they keep stocked. Its catch and release ; but, I saw a lot of people catching huge fish.
They have some travel nurses that bring their own campers & stay there when they are at their assignment . I have done travel nursing in the past & I will always support campgrounds that take such good care of nurses.
I just made reservations for the week of July 4th for $39/night , which is a decent price. If you book the premium sites that have propane grills and cement patio, they are $62.

Very well maintained campground. Bathrooms and laundry room clean and machines 1.50 per load. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice campground. Sites with and without trees/shade. Plenty of room between sites. Follow the directions on their website to get to campground. GPS directions take you a different way and may be difficult for larger rigs. The road in could use some re-paving and may be a bit tight if two rigs are trying to enter/exit at the same time.

We came in for one night on our way south. A very nice, family run campground. It was great that they have a community campfire to meet other campers. Would have stayed another night if we had time but we芒鈧劉ll be back.

This is one of the best campgrounds I芒鈧劉ve ever stayed at. Wonderful and sweet owners that truly care, great activities, and beautiful scenery. Well taken care of. I will be camping here as much as possible. Ignore CS below, their experience does not match with reality.

This is a very nice campground, with a delightful staff. The grounds are very well kept and the amenities are excellent. Our site was spacious and had a wonderful sitting area overlooking a very pretty pond. We would make it a point to stay here again when in the area.

Just reviewed comments from CS who entered a review on August 3o, 2019. We find this to be a total misrepresentation of the Pine Ridge Campground. We have stayed there many times and always found it to be a very pleasant experience. In regards to the "New" section, we contacted them about staying and they informed us of the condition of the area and that it was a work in progress but available if needed. I feel that the review was a CHEAP shot at a campground that always does its best to accommodate its guests.

The 芒鈧搊ld芒鈧 part of the park consists of campers and trailers piled one on top of the other. And that芒鈧劉s the nice part of this 芒鈧揷ampground 芒鈧. The staff have been very nice and very accommodating. Unfortunately, they only had space for us in the 芒鈧搉ew芒鈧 section, which literally consists of dirt and gravel. Not a blade of grass, trees or bushes. It is gravel alternated with dirt patches in the glaring sun, one camper on top of another. Not even a picnic table. And we had to pay for this? Go find yourself a nice Walmart parking lot. It would be like a resort compared to this refugee camp.

Have stayed here three times as we have family in the area. We like the owners and their park. Owners bought park about 2013 and are working hard on their investment. We have had no complaints except for open campfire next to us that smoked up our rig on one occasion. Turn in, the first time is a little off-putting but that is not the campgrounds fault. County needs to work on it. This is our "go to" campground in the Spartanburg area.
