We had a lovely time during our stay. One suggestion for improvement would be to spread out the lots a bit more for added privacy. Aside from that, the area offers fantastic opportunities for hiking, swimming, fishing, and kayaking. We appreciated the peaceful atmosphere throughout the week. The lot itself was fairly level and well-maintained, and we enjoyed sighting various wildlife. Additionally, we had good service with both AT&T and Verizon here. Overall, a great experience!

Great spot on Lake Murray for fishermen. We didn't fish, but everyone else was. Views are incredible.
Campsites are *very* tight. Florida tight. You'll get to know your neighbors whether you want to or not. Leave your giant campsite rug at home.
Bathhouses were reasonably clean and air conditioned. About average for a SC park.
Didn't have much staff interaction myself, but they seemed friendly.
This is a very busy campground. Considering how many people they run through there, they do a decent job.

Nice sites. Wooded. Good bike riding. $25 plus tax so 29+. Busy weekends. Some pull through, same price
Discount for s.c. seniors. Quiet on Sunday night when we stayed.

We are stayed her for 9 nights. This is the most beautiful park we have stayed in. The views are lovely. Being so close to the water is great. No sewer hook up but there is a dump station. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great price as well. We will stay here again!

I stayed here in a 39 ft motorhome. Roads are a little tight getting rig in but doable. Beautiful site on banks of Murray lake. Site was a little uneven so that took a little extra work to level the mh. However a beautiful place with lots of trees. Electric limited to 30 amps. Stayed 2 nights here. Would definitely come back! Price was also right at 25 clams per nite

Sites need work we are in a class a 35 ft motor home towing a jeep. Travel with a small dog. Today it's rainy, entrance to park well marked. Once inside park a little hard to figure where to go for check in. Staff didn't seem very interested in giving out information. Seems it was close to closing time and raining. I didn't feel welcomed, after tracing many miles to stay at this park. Stayed in site 57 arear B. Site could be fantastic. Not so, was wondering if I would be electrocuted while hooking up power. No cover on box to keep rain out. When I walked my small dog notice a number of connections without covers. This seem to be the norm. Our site with a few repairs would be wonderful, guess the state doesn't have the resources to keep sites repaired. Park rangers don't enforce dog leash rules, so be aware of dogs on the move. We will not stay again.

Great site and location. Bath houses are nice, have space between most sites and dump station not to far away. Most sites are paved too but might need little leveling.
