Unlevel and tight turns. Staffing was short, the store Wasn’t opened during the week but the lady there was so nice! Also came in an off season. Lots of hiking to do and beautiful views

Would not stop again, very poorly maintained, don’t select 61 or 62, the handicap spots as are on at least 20 degree slope, bath house heavily used, no soap, no blower, generally dirty. Some sites are level, generally used by locals.

I called because I was arriving after 5pm - they were very nice. They said to just pick any site and then take care of it in the morning.
It was a little hard to find - I got there about 4:56p and the station was closed. I went to the sites and parked. The sites are very uneven and very weathered (a lot of real bumpy road).
I am in a bus (Skoolie) and it was hard to maneuver - I am sure a more traditional RV would struggle. It is rustic.
The area is beautiful - the facilities are nice and clean.
The next morning, I drove to the station and it was still closed. There is no cell service... I drove to the other end (there are two camp areas) but still found no one.
I went back to the station and saw a small note to go to the main station and there was an address - but no map / directions. Without cell service - i decided to leave.
I later called and paid for the night over the phone - the lady was nice. It seems that the main station is on the other side south) of the main roadway.
Overall - the park is beautiful.
I would like to have stayed longer.

Park was very nice but area has a lot of activities. They have an area where you can rent paddle boats and canoes, great picnic areas and lots of hiking.
I did hike to the top of Table Rock, but I would advise you do some checking to decide if you want to do it. I didn't mind the elevation gain but instead of switchbacks they have a lot of rock stairs, some stairs even carved in to the rocks. The rocks and trails could be very slippery if it was raining and the height of some of the stairs is quite high. I'm in good enough shape that I didn't have much problem going up but it was hard on my knees coming down. Some people were starting the hike with young children or their dog and they were worried if they might have to carry them back on the round trip.
The good news is the first section of the trail is very scenic waterfalls and has a very nice paved path with very nice steps between the paved sections. That section is short but is worth seeing for everyone.

Nice campground with lots of amenities. Bath houses are clean and in reason shape. Most of the camp sites are smallish and close together in the main section. A nice place to camp overall.

We love this State Park. Most all of the campsites are wooded and shaded. The bath houses are well maintained and there is a LOT to do here, especially hiking.
