Easy off 95 with pull thru sites. FHU with decent size and level. Lots of full time residents. wifi is slow but usable. A decent over night stop when traveling thru

We stopped for overnight and it’s very close to Hwy 95. There are convenient pull thru sites for overnight travelers. Hwy noise wasn’t bad and longer term sites were all neat and well kept. $45. With veteran discount Staff very friendly

Update to earlier review. They didn’t honor Passport America, they would take $2.00 off the $36.00 cash charge. Lots of residents in this older campground. Gravel, grassy sites. We actually ended up staying...a little pricey for this campground... no amenities, didn’t use the bathrooms

Although the camp is old and a bit rundown, it is well-kept. The owner is more than accommodating and very friendly. He continues to work on improvements. Dirt roads and full hook ups. Many of the campers there look as if they’re renting long term with a lot of stuff set up Outside; all were friendly when we took a walk. There are a lot of dogs, and though they’re all penned or tied up, a couple looked a bit menacing. The bathrooms are spotless- and I’m fussy. Love the easy-on and off access to 95. We will be back!

Easy access from I95. Roads & sites are dirt/gravel. Did not use any facilities because the whole place looks a bit run down & unkempt. It is OK for an overnight stay since there are so few other choices in the area. Passport discount requires cash payment.

Very friendly management, no wifi, manager said to try to access open network from motel nearby. A bit putoff that he would suggest using anothers network. Many trailer full time residents and units in need on cleaning. Lawn not cut even though 4th of July week. Lots of late night traffic moving through with lights off. Not sure what that was about but made us uneasy. The good was it is an easy to get to and from I95. Less than .5 miles from on ramp. Fuel is available on main road before entrance ramp if needed. In a pinch this might be a stop. Spot we used was quiet other than late night people moving around, it was a Saturday night during a Holiday week.

Quick overnight trip returning to North Carolina Outer Banks from Florida December 2017. Owner and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Super clean restrooms. Easy access to I ? 95 and close to Florence. Yes, a bit dated but the owner is working to improve. The price was right! Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for an overnight on a trip to FL in 2017 and loved the ambiance and friendliness of the staff. New management is improving the camp and everyone was eager to help and interact. The staff was super and eagerly accommodated an after hours issue.
I will definitely stay her on my treks along I95.

Called at the last minute during a very busy time, and the owner was so friendly and accommodating. Although we had a spot right near the office, the campground was nice and quiet. The facilities were clean and well-kept. Our only issue is that there were employees smoking despite the no smoking signs. We thoroughly enjoyed this stop, including the complimentary coffee in the morning.
