Little Pee Dee SP is beautiful! This SP has a large fishing lake and lots of wildlife! Fishing is great! Kayak and small fishing boats are available to rent. Large campsites and some with full hookups are available! The campsites are sand, but well kept, hard and compacted. Clean, older bathhouses, one was heated. A few activities are located within walking distance, eg..Cornhole and a kids playground. Walking trails are wide and well marked! It is early October and the leaves are just starting to turn, but the weather is perfect! Our hosts are great, knowledgeable and very accommodating. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing park...this is your best bet! We will definitely be back!

Stayed here for 3 nights. It’s a great state park. It’s got fairly open spaces. Not very hard to back into. There are several spots on the water. Several spots are full hookups. It’s not very busy during the week, but gets crowded during the weekend. We will be staying there again, no questions.

We were looking for a place to stay that would be a short drive to Myrtle Beach where we'd be meeting family. We're self-contained in our 25-foot motorhome and don't use the facilities except for an occasional shower. We stayed on a weeknight in early June. This is a pretty, small campground situated along a lake. The campsites are generously sized and in various shapes and arrayed around two loops. The roads and sites are packed sand. Most sites need some leveling and have a mix of sun and shade and greenery for privacy. The sites closest to the lake have views. Half the sites are water/electric and half are water only. There's a dump station near the CG entrance. There's good ATT and Verizon cell coverage. There's a one-mile nature trail around the CG. Specific boats and fishing is allowed in the lake - see website for details. Might be a nice place for bird watching. Otherwise a quiet place, 1.5 hours from Myrtle Beach.

Stayed from Nov. 17-20, 2020. Spacious level sites. Nice clean bathhouse. Super hot water. Nice lake for kayaks or canoes. They were working on the main entrance road while we were there. Now smooth and I believe they’re repaving it. Will definitely revisit.

Two night stay March 2020 Pros: super clean and level wooded site with water and 30 amp. (#14)Older, very clean bath house. Peaceful 2 mile nature trail. Very quiet. Friendly ranger. Great price ($18) some sites are waterfront. Cons: rough access road. Travel slowly. Not much to do in local area.

We loved our stay at Little Pee Dee! There is usually a lake, but at the time at that we were there, they had drained it for repair work on the local dam. It's still a beautiful view.

There are 50 campsites, about half have electricity and all have water. There is a dump station and a dumpster located at the entrance to the campground. The roads around the camp sites itself are a little rough, but if you're going slow you hardly notice.

Cell service for Verizon was great and consistent at about 2-3 bars for 4G LTE. AT&T cell service got 1-2 bars for 4G. Unfortunately, T-Mobile was non-existent.

We'd definitely come back!

May 2017. The lake is gone due to dam breakdown after storm of October 2016. Presently planning to rebuild the dam, should be back later this year. Did not use facilities, very quiet. Most beautiful little office I ever saw! They got everything in there from wood to t-shirt. If late arrival, pass by the office to check the list of available sites.

Just stopped for the night and didn't use any facilities but they (shower houses) appeared to be dated. Sand roads and sand sites. Nice looking pond with geese. Verizon 2 dot LTE. About a dozen television stations when pointed west. Pretty basic but that's all I needed.
