This is a beautiful forested campground with good separation between the large sites. There are lots of hiking trails close by and the road cycling is great. The main road winds through the park providing beautiful vistas and places to visit a number of lakes. The road has recently been paved and there is a decent cycling lane. The view at La Passage is stunning. Come prepared with head nets, screen tents and bug spray, it can’t be avoided in the Canadian wilderness. There are many potable water taps throughout the campground and it would have been nice to have them at every site.
