Sites backing on to the River offer a beautiful view. The camping is off the main road so very quiet but an easy walk to town where there are a few restaurants, shops and a grocery. Some were either not open due to the time of year or permanently closed. Two must visit businesses are Chocomotive (hand made chocolates and more) and Montebello Cheese. The downside of our grassy site was that it needed to be mowed and was very wet and soggy. There is no laundry facility and the Laundromat in the village is permanently closed.

Inside town of Montebello QC along side municipal park. This is a marina on the lake. Checked in for one night but stayed an extra day to explore this hidden gem of a village. Great food and nightlife, outdoor events,and boating/ canoeing at your fingertips. Fifty miles from Ottawa and good roads to get around. We travel all over north America and glad we were tired and pulled over here.
