The location of Camping de La Joie is perfect for touring Quebec City. Old Quebec is an easy 15 minute drive from the campground. The staff was bilingual which made it easy to make reservations and to ask questions. They offer a shuttle which was $40 cad round trip for 2. We took the shuttle the first day, but found it was cheaper to pay for parking in town. Our only complaint is that although our site, #66, was a 3-service pull through site, it was a difficult site to pull in to because of the steep hill, gravel, and angle. There was also no privacy on the site. The two service sites are much nicer and more like a campground than a trailer park.
