This was a one night travel stop for us, and it was great. Clean, friendly staff, big shaded sites, quiet, and they had Saturday night bingo! We were there a week after their opening.

Almost all the sites are permanent --so be prepared to deal with all that comes with the 'almost-all-the-sites-are-permanent' type of thing.
The residents of the campground don't exactly take much care of their lots. It's rather sloppy all around.
There's no airs or pretension here. It's regular working folks just hanging out, drinking beer, BBQ'ing, and making sure both you and them get plenty of chances to listen to loud rock music from their wonder years. It's after midnight as I type this and the music is still blaring. Good lawd, it's a Rick Springfield song now. Well, scratch that. It's the ONLY Rick Springfield song.
There's really a certain old school crazy 1970's charm to this place, if you're into that sort of thing. Feels like you're living with carnies from the state fair, or are in some cheap comedy movie starring Bill Murray during his early career.
The owners are cool though. Friendly as can be and earnestly trying to make it work. They go out of their way to offer fun stuff for kids to do.
If I was a kid and not a bitter old man with all the joy sucked out of his soul, I'd love this place. It would be pure magic. I mean, the kids here are almost feral. They can roam, run naked through your lot, make noise, no one cares. What kid wouldn't want that?
Half of me wants to recommend it. Half of me wants to warn you away. One thing's for sure, you'll know if the place is your speed 5 minutes after arriving. And if you do stay here, you're not going to forget it.

Picked this campground because it was listed as a Passport America member. We have a 42 ft. RV so we called in advance to see if they could accommodate us and was told yes. Drove several hours to get there and after registering was told she wouldn't take my Passport because we were 42 ft long and they only took it for rigs up to 39 ft. What is the difference? We used one space same as any other rig. Almost the whole campground was used by permanent rigs. Lots of junk around. Would not recommend this campground . I wonder if they say they are Passport America just so they can be placed out there on the web.
