As far as state parks go this was nice, but typical outdated public restrooms, etc. The dog park area is NON-existent...literally not there. The section that allows dogs is a bit dismal, however, the camping area that does not allow dogs is much nicer, with larger sites, paved sites, lake front sites. I feel like they penalize campers with dogs and put them in the undesirable location. BEWARE check in is not until 3 pm (same as check-out) and for whatever reason, MANY people don't leave until exactly 3 pm. BEWARE ticks everywhere, absolutely everywhere.

This was a nice campground. Clean and fire pits are nice.

Pet and no-pet areas. Some FHUs. Most sites seem unlevel, many in wooded, shady spots. Trails were very muddy, 40% under water. Bathhouse in our loop had very noisy, ineffective exhaust fan, showers without curtains sprayed water on the floor. Most sites are primitive. Park seems to suffer from neglect, budget cuts.

Large state park campground. Bathrooms were clean. Campsites were spacious and level. We had a full hookup, but many of the campsites are tent only. 4 place dump station. No wifi. Great campground for outdoor recreational activities. Several walking/hiking/biking trails as well as a nice lake to fish and boat. Nice play area for the kids, one smaller one located right on the beach.
