6/19/2020 Beautiful Core property geared towards boaters with extensive dockage and mooring facility. Extensive walking trails, bicycle challenge course, large visitor center/ranger station. Sites are well spread but open, flat graveled electric only. Well worth the effort for a 14 day stay. The entire area is extremely hilly with long steep grades. **Be prepared to watch your temperature gauge and turn on your vehicle heat to high to assist cooling. Not just in the park but on the area highways.** A must drive with your car or pickup is Pineyridge Road, beautiful valley views, twisty turns nice rural homes ect. 'not so much if you get caught towing or driving a Class C or A.'

Really nice campground and affordable. We stayed at a site with electric, no water. Site was on the lake with a gorgeous view.

What a gorgeous place! The sites were gravel and very level. Fire ring and picnic table are had siblings around them. Some sites were tighter than others, so check the map when making reservations. The swimming beach was one of the nicest I've ever seen at a lake and the boat launch had plenty of parking. We had a great week here fishing and swimming with the kids. Will definitely be back again.

What an awesome CG. We had a water front site. It was for 2 days at the end of memorial weekend so the crowd was thinning. Would definitely come here again!
