Not a level site on the place. I don鈥檛 mind gravel site but please replace the gravel as need don鈥檛 leave the big mud pits. Book in today put me in a loop with no power trouble they new about well before I booked in. You think at a 100 a night they would be more customer friendly.

Their website offers tent sites without hookups and states you can have 1 truck camper or 1 tent on such sites, but they refused to give me a reservation for a converted van.

Just say NO
Typical corporate campground . Spend as little as possible building it, charge as much as possible to campers. No one on site cares about the facility they are just here getting a pay check Arrived July first to the following conditions (main camping seas/ they should be prepared for campers).
Every Street, road, camping spot is over grown. If you have any RV over 10 feet tall or 8 feet wide the trees and bushes in this campground are going to scratch your paint or try to tear your antenna of the roof
Staff parks in the entrance to the office drive way making it difficult or impossible for you to enter campground if you have a wide or long rig
While a few sites are level most are grossly unlevel front to back and side to side
Streets are not maintained gravel / dirt with ruts, potholes , and speed bumps ?
If you use a satellite for TV or internet it will not work here due to many large and tall trees
Staff or corporate has set everything up here so as to not interact directly with campers . No personal interaction , please don芒鈧劉t ask them to be friendly or helpful
Most if not all sewer connections are uphill ( like a lot uphill )
Gravel / Dirt camping spots (driveway -pads) are weedy and grassy with no apparent maintenance for years
Way overpriced
NOT A RESORT in any sense of the word , not even a pleasant campground
Did not use pool or very lame mini golf course
On the bright side water and power were good and you are close to things in Gettysburg

To follow up on an earlier review芒鈧 Our second night included a golf cart parade of 芒鈧揷ampaign芒鈧 and confederate flags. The residents (and there are many) do not appear to understand where they are. Never ever staying here again or any other Thousand Trails affiliate.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way home from NY state. Most likely will not stay here again. Site was way too $$$$ for what you get. The site was packed stone, but far from level. As others have stated the road noise from Rt 15 was relentless at all hours. Even with the AC on, you could hear it. There were golf carts running around with political 芒鈧揷ampaign芒鈧 flags on them. The sites are on the small side and you have to maneuver your RV on tight roads and lots of trees. The place is huge, so maybe the sites further back would be more quiet. The campground store closed at 4:30! I guess on the plus side it is close to the historic sites and the CATV had an unbelievable amount of channels.

Do not stay here. The traffic from the interstate is horrible and never ending. We are sleeping on a freeway. Sites are small. You cannot possibly sit outside and enjoy conversation without yelling over the traffic. If you can芒鈧劉t find another camp site, get a hotel. This dive is absolutely not worth the money. WAY overpriced.

Visit two. Last year we enjoyed our visit so we scheduled again for the local August Bluegrass Festival. Even though this year芒鈧劉s festival was canceled we kept our reservation. We won芒鈧劉t be back. In early spring we reserved a site near our last visit. The property is now a Thousand Trail, it wasn芒鈧劉t when we reserved. They didn芒鈧劉t honor our reservation and put us in a spot that all we could hear was the roar of Route 15. We could not carry on a conversation without raising our voices. The road noise never ceased, it was the same at 4:00 pm as 11:00 pm as 6:00 am. I won芒鈧劉t spend this amount of camping fees to hear endless traffic. The bathroom were never open when we tried. They were supposed to be. Even with full hookups it芒鈧劉s nice to have them available when you have four or more adults. If this is how Thousand Trails treats reservations, I芒鈧劉ll never join. I can see why they choose sites for camper, no one would knowingly reserve spots in the first loop. The people working here are super nice and helpful.

The staff is very nice. Pull through site was ok, not super level, but we carry enough supports to compensate. Plenty of gravel for parking on. Very convenient to the historical sites. Easy to get to. Other reviews mentioned the highway noise and yes we could hear it a bit, but it was no bother in our spot, we were out and about most days anyway. We never got to use the pool and spa as it closed at eight. Office closes at 5:00 so bring back what you need in the evening. Bathrooms cleaner than most campgrounds. The water was hot enough for me, the water pressure was ok.

Very loud with highway right beside the sites. Many sites are stacked on top of each other and the buffer is no wider than a fire ring. We went for monster mash weekend. Poorly organized, hay ride was broken. They have 2 very small pools can芒鈧劉t imagine they fill the needs of the 400 sites. Mini golf lame. I芒鈧劉m pretty sure their aren芒鈧劉t any fish in that pond.

Horrible. This resort was dirty, 2 of 3 washing machines were out of order, the bathrooms look like an old high school locker room, and the water only got warm (not hot!). They charged us 63.75 for one night, and none of the amenities were available- no pool, no hot tub. The hookups were janky and worn which was worrisome. When we arrived we asked the woman at the front desk to recommend a campsite and she told us the staff doesn't really get out to look at the campsites so we should just go checkout the available spots. Would NEVER recommend this rv Park, and would certainly never return.
