Nicely landscaped and clean. Right on the channel between lake and bay, it doesn鈥檛 feel like you鈥檙e in the city when you鈥檙e there. Water and electric only, with dump station. Interior sites in the loop are longer than the exterior of the loop, and the north end sites are more crowded. In our experience, the volunteer hosts were great but the check in employee with a beard was very rude. Autistic spectrum, maybe?

This is a very nice clean campgrounds, with a very clean bathhouse, easy access, and polite host and staff, one word of advise is not to pay in advance for additional people or add on tents ETC, as we did. Our 3rd person was unable to make it (which i told them upon our arrival) and we paid for the addition cost upfront when booking. During the checkout process the office person was off that day and they would not reimburse us after the visit. Just a heads up.

We stayed for the Eclipse. The campground was full. Sites are level. Site 36 fire ring was in an odd spot. Bathrooms are very clean, campsites were very clean, and the grounds are very well maintained. We would definitely stay again.

Very clean campground with super hosts. You do have to drive thru some city streets and past an industrial park to get there but worth it. The price is right and there are great views over Presque Isle Bay and out over Lake Erie if you walk out the jetty. Looked like good fishing on bay and jetty. A short drive out to the many beaches of Presque Isle. Sites are a little close but it felt very isolated and quiet when we were there in June. Day trip to Niagara Falls along cliffs of Lake Erie was very enjoyable. Bathhouse/laundry very clean.

This one got 4 stars because it is so clean and well kept even though no sites are full hookups. All sites water and electric only but there is a dump station. It's Right next to boat launch on Lake Erie. Two hours from Niagra Falls. Would definitely stay again. $37 a night big rigs ok but dump station a little tight.

Don芒鈧劉t let the approach (very industrial) scare you off. The campsite is quiet and incredibly well maintained and our site backed onto the lake (with a chain link fence separating us for it). Large level and paved sites, with suitable electric and water. Somewhat close together, but as it wasn芒鈧劉t full up until the weekend, this wasn芒鈧劉t a problem for us. Bathroom and Laundry Facilities didn芒鈧劉t feel like a campground - brand new, lots of space, very clean. Three dump stations on the way out. Right on Lake Erie and across from Presque Isle State park, you can hear the coast guard station 芒鈧損lay down芒鈧 the flag every evening. Take a walk on the long jetty by the campground and take advantage of the state park, which is amazing, there were some storms while we were there were very exciting. Didn芒鈧劉t use the fire pit.

Wow.... what a surprise! I found this campground to be spectacular. Nice, really wide paved sites on the Erie river. Only about 4 other campers there when we were. Water and electric at sites, easy to access dump station. Only noise I heard was from a Pirate Boat sailing by with music and Canadian geese flying by. Restrooms and showers clean. Weather was perfect..... would definitely stay again. A real bargain at $35.00 a night.

Good news: Nice clean place, nice port area with walking adjacent to park, State park is just feet away. Bad news: port area is home to some kind of EMS and or Coast Guard training facility that practices with fire response and safety sirens, dock is stocked with local riff-raff playing music till 11pm and there is a frequent (every 20seconds) beeping alarm. State park is only accessible by driving all the way through town and back to the the other side. Its about as peaceful as a McDonalds kitchen when the fries are ready to pull from the fryer and all the milkshakes are ready at the same time.
