We recently stayed three nights at this wonderful COE campground. The hosts couldn't have done a better job. Very clean sites. There are train sounds in the distance and one night the horns went off for the releasing of water but not too bad. Right on the GAP trail so we could ride bikes in either direction. Great ice cream place nearby. No cell service for T Mobile but service not too far away. We will definitely be back for another stay here.

Excellent location, decent facilities. Right on the Great Allegheny Passage, you can walk to a good restaurant/tavern (The Lucky Dog) in about 7 minutes. Confluence is right across the river via pedestrian bridge and has a great bike shop, cafes, library and grocery. Campground is well managed, but closed the shower facilities after 9/12 this year, and only boondocking allowed after 10/12.

We stopped here expecting to stay one night but stayed three. Right on the bike path and on the lake! Walking distance to the charming town of Confluence. Easy access to Ohiopyle and to Ft Necessity. Very friendly staff. Nicely developed spacious and level sites. W/E for $25 (or $12.50 with our NP Senior Pass). Best phone number is (814) 395-3944.
