We stayed there 8/22 for one night. Nice and clean, lots for kids to do. I feel it is a little overpriced for those of us traveling without kids. Bathrooms were clean; but nothing extra special.

Will not commit to future reservations. Otherwise OK but we were squezed in pretty tight with a lot of spacier location empty.

The park facilities were average for the nightly rate, a little dated and the sites are very close together. The campground itself is very nice and in a great location near historic Carlisle. The thing that will deter us from camping here again is the employees. The staff is more concerned about making money and enforcing the rules than they are about families having a pleasant visit. No discounts are offered. While staying here with my wife and two kids my father visited us at the campground for lunch. He was stopped at the gate and asked to pay $3.00 per person just to visit the site for a quick lunch. The "gate guard" was very confrontational which shocked my father. No refunds are offered at the arcade although eh machines eat quarters. The camp office staff was confrontational and rude in every encounter. I attempted to refill my propane tanks, they charged a flat full rate (rather than per pound filled) they offered conflicting excuses as to why they could not refill my supposedly outdated tanks, then under-filled them. Seems anbout 1/3 of the campers were "long term" and were allowed more than temp campers. Rude staff made for a very frustrating 4 nights at this camp. If friendly customer service were a priority here, this would be a great campground for families.

Not very friendly staff. One star for hospitality.
