This campground is in a lovely location off US-209 on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware River. Campsites are heavily wooded and perfectly level. Although some of the sites have 50A service, the campground is not appropriate for large RVs due to the narrow roads and low-hanging trees. The sites are spacious but close together. I imagine that on a summer weekend it would feel very crowded, but on a midweek in early June the entire campground was peaceful. We loved it. There is no Verizon or T-Mobile service here. This campground is under new management as of 2024. The new managers saw deficiencies in the way the campground was run previously, and they are working to improve it. We think this campground is worth another visit.

We’ve stayed in a lot of NPS, USFS and COE campgrounds in our travels and for the money they’re asking for here, a lot is left to be desired. Very limited staff - though the one staff member who was there was very helpful and courteous. South bathroom showers were clean, but the handicapped stall had a seat platform that was held up by a road construction sign. Overall, facilities were not in very good shape. A bit disappointed.

For our first family RV adventure it was great. Began by checking in at the front office, who were a friendly bunch. We selected our site, paid for it, and backed our RV in. They had electric for 30amp and city water connection, no sewer or cable. Totally fine for us and the kids. We only spent one night and the next day we continued on to Bushkill Falls, a few miles south of our location. Would visit again for the other activities in the area.

Very busy and noisy campground. A lot of visitors so a lot of traffic and dust and Rt 209 about 200 yards to the west has a lot of traffic noise. The camp access roads should be one way and in the direction that you need to be traveling to back your camper in place. Following the advice from the camp office we turned onto the access road only to find we had to turn around to park the camper. The dump station is poorly located at the north rest / shower area with limited parking for the camper during dumping. Only one camper at a time and you block the very busy parking area for the bathrooms. However it is Very scenic area.

Rustic and well run. Some sites a little crowded but overall a beautiful, well run campground.
