Super great state park! Beautiful Lake Marie has a lovely 1-mile trail through a mature forest (rare in this area). Umpqua lighthouse is a short walk which you can tour as well as visit the Coast Guard museum. Spots are on the small side but level. Bathrooms and showers are new, well-kept and clean. Only downside is noise from ATV’s, etc. racing around the dunes. In summer it’s apparently quite loud.

This is our first state park stay in the Pacific northwest. This is a really well cared for and well run park. Clean, great showers and restrooms. No wi-fi and limited cell coverage. Site was not huge and was sloped away from road, but, was perfectly level side to side. Also most sites have vegetation between them so pretty good privacy. Short drive to Umpqua Lighthouse which is a must see.

Very nice, modest priced state campground. New, fully tiled, well maintained toilet/shower building. Excellent, individual, warm shower rooms; continuous hot water. Dishwashing sinks. Very well managed, friendly, helpful hosts & ranger. Some vegetative screening b/w sites. Some RV sites with water & electricity, some dry. yurts, small cabins, walk/bike in sites. One of the best we have ever seen.

Lovely campground. We were in space 45 with water and electricity. Level paved spot. No WiFi but had reception for AT&T. Quiet. Good space between sites. Could hear a foghorn. Peaceful. We overlooked a small lake that has a 7-mile loop walk around it. Clean bathrooms and showers. Would stay again.

My Oregon friend told me to get sites at State parks whenever possible. He was right. The state makes sure everything is clean and running right. Our camp was raked and cleaned before we got there. Showers are hot and clean. Top notch for $28 plus $8 reservation fee for electric and water site. And the hikes and facilities are great
