This park is for people fishing. There are a bunch of old beat-up trailers that belong to seasonal or long-term renters when you enter the park. They have a few sites on the river that are extremely close together. We had 3 ft between our slide out and the slide out of the RV next to us. The sites on the river have water and electricity that were built a long time ago. We had a low voltage error on our voltage protector. The bathroom and showers are poorly maintained and haven't been painted in years. We were awakened every morning at 5:30 by the fishermen using the boat launch which is in the middle of the water sites. If you're a fisherman this is the perfect place, if you are not keep looking.

We looked at several RV parks along the Pacific Coast Highway (101). They had RVs packed in like sardines. This little place is all grass and right on the Alsea River. We have full hookups, cable & wifi. Families seem to return year after year. We see why...it is so peaceful. If we ever venture this way again, this will be our stop!!!! Mary and Tom will do anything possible to make your stay perfect.
