We stayed here for 5 days over a Memorial Day weekend. No reservations so we were lucky to get a spot. Pulled in on Thursday and we were almost the only ones there. Of course that changed next few days. First impression is it’s quite unorganized with old junk strewn about. Old junk trailers and farm eqpt all over. Roads are super bad full of mud and potholes from the rain. Hot springs are not hot more like warm springs. With a lot of people in them and water circulating they warmed up but never more than 103. Only 2 of the 3 outdoor hot springs had water. They’re quite small and neither can hold > 4 people and that’s even tight. This park has TONS of tent sites and also has MANY Day users so the springs were very hard to find a spot! Day users are not enforced as they’re supposed to be gone by 7pm. Wayyyy too many people for those little hot springs.there is a small indoor pool-like spring that is around 99 max and rain drops in on you from the roof above. We were willing to pay $50/nite for the springs but not sure it was worth it with all the day users and tent folks.Birtually no amenities, small old showers didn’t use them. Now for the good slide.... gorgeous views!!! Super nice people working there. Great water pressure and hot water abound! Lots to do in the area and don’t forget it’s clothing optional after 9pm! Great river drive outside of Paisley. Went to the caves and had fun and saw beautiful sites. Wouldn’t stay again for same rate but it has potential if it were cleaned up!
