We stayed here 3 nights in our 30'TT in an "Ocean View FHU" site #20. Our TT fit and we were able to get level. Services worked as expected. We could see the ocean through the trees, between other campers. Our campsite had dormant brown grass, dandelions, gravel, and dust. The main RV park road was between our door and the dog park. This would have been convenient for taking our dogs to the dog park, but it was a weedy mud hole. We were sure that our dogs would have needed baths after every potty break. A nice looking dog wash station was provided, but we opted to keep our dogs on dry ground. Don't worry about the "NO BARKING" policy. It wasn't enforced while we were there. The campers across from us had set up a fence around their 5th wheel, and their five little white dogs barked loudly at every person and dog that they could see. They were not the only ones, but they were the most notable during our stay. It was convenient to stroll across the 101 to the beach. It was also convenient to explore the Samuel Boardman Corridor and Port Orford. If we were in the area again, we would look for a different campground because we prefer quiet.

Very nice park that has several camping areas. The ones closest to the check-in area are full hookups and are pretty close together. There are grassy verges separating the sites. Sites are pretty level. Other sites are partial hookups or no hookups. Also there are spots for tents. Those are in the meadow areas and people there likely have the best opportunity to see elk. Several hiking/walking paths which are nicely kept by mowing. Lovely ponds but at this time of year, there are also mosquitoes. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Laundry is perfectly adequate. WiFi ok. Path to beach involves crossing Highway 101. Beach is nice. Managers are very accommodating and nice. Small store where you check in.

A beautiful campground that is well maintained with helpful and sweet staff. Very clean showers, toilets, laundry and a small store. Trails in the park are shaded and have elk that come out in the evening! The park is just minutes from some of the most beautiful, rugged shoreline you will ever see! I highly recommend this wonderful park!

Well not sure where to start! Came to Honey Bear after getting the kids and grandkids to COVID celebrate a crazy military move from
Japan back to the USA. Birthday balloons were at the campsite giving a little 8 year old her birthday wish to go camping and to see the ocean (hard to complete with the beaches in Japan) but wow did Oregon coast deliver. Hiked the campground, caught tadpoles, and salamander, explores the creek and most importantly had birthday s’mores! Walked the private trail to the beach and even though the water was cold they got in! Stag at the Honey Bear were amazing! From the check in to giving direction and suggestions totally wonderful service. We will be back!

Good place. As good as the Oregon State Parks for green lush spaces. Add WiFi and cable and this place is ideal for a week, month, or multiple month stay.

Just about as good as it gets. The restaurant is quite good with nice sized portions. Easy hike over to the beach. If you get the chance, stay here.

This is one of my new favorites! We stayed here for a week on our way up the coast and what a delightful time we had! First, the staff are SO warm and accommodating. We originally planned to just stay for a night or two, so when we decided to stay for a week, Tammy helped us find a site to move to where we could do that. The new site had only Electric & Water (no sewer) but that worked out fine. They have a dump station that you can use for $10. They escort you to your site and help you get parked and tell you how their hookups work. We also had great cable TV that really worked without a bunch of fuzzy stations! The WiFi is dependable and worked well. The grounds are immaculate and so nicely landscaped. There is a beach access trail to a beautiful beach across 101. We did not have any trouble crossing. Now, let me rave about the onsite Bears Bar & Grill that is open Fri-Sat-Sun evenings. We had such great service and the food is excellent. Baby back ribs to die for, loaded baked potato (which includes pulled pork on top with a delicious BBQ sauce), wings, and lots of specials each night. It’s always pleasantly full with campers and townies both. The owner, Glenn, comes around to meet & greet and spread his good cheer and welcome to everyone. You can buy firewood there (by the bundle or by the wheelbarrow, which you push to your campsite, unload and return) and we had a great campfire every night. It is well-lit without being overly light at night and we felt very safe. We will definitely stop in for a much longer stay next time we come! It’s also very convenient to make lots of day trips north and south to see all the amazing things in the area! Thanks for giving us such a great vacation!

We were here for two weeks over Memorial Day weekend. We had a very enjoyable stay. We especially appreciated all the well kept walking trails around the property. Would definitely stay again, the staff were very helpful and friendly.

I’ve been on a very long road trip through many states. The staff and facilities here are a breath of fresh air. The owner Glen treats all his customers like family as do all of the staff members (JayJay, Rowan, Mike and Rebecca) everyone does an excellent job at making you feel at home. The grassy spot I stayed in #20 has a partial ocean view and is just above the frog pond for the frogs to sing you to sleep at night. Laundry facilities were clean and current machines. Bar and restaurant were amazing. Had the ribs second night & they were the best I’ve ever eaten. Great location and fun upbeat staff make this a must stay. I’ll be back for longer next time.

This RV resort came highly recommended. Location is nice as it is across hwy 101 from the ocean. We were in the electric/water area and it was just okay. Gravel road in, grassy area to park, not great in wet weather. Too windy for a campfire. Laundry facilities were great. Tammy in the office was very friendly and helpful. Our biggest disappointment for this Five star rated RV campground, was the restroom. Only one of three were in operation for our side of the campground. Add to that, the sink was backed up. The other restrooms were closed for ‘renovations’. We will not be staying a second day. Moving on.
