Excellent facility when it’s open.

Nice park. Pretty level spaces. Fairly close to your neighbors. We were in D loop and pretty close to the beach path. Restrooms just ok. Showers also just ok. A bit tired but they had hot water. Nice that there is a dump. Quiet and peaceful.

We loved this campground and wish we had more time to spend in the area. Very well-kept, tree lined roads. We didn’t find the spaces to be crowded together at all. Easy beach access for amazing sunsets.

This was our first time at this family park. We just followed Allstays and landed here. We have a 38 foot class A motorhome and the park was able to handle our size. The road we used to get here Highway 53, was really rough and not recommended unless you ride a motorcycle. Highway 101 would be a better choice. The park is laid out in 3 big loops and all the sites have room to get outside your rig and enjoy the grass. There are a lot of people here with kids riding bikes and scooters so the speed limit is low. Reservations are recommended. Bathroom and showers are placed around the park for convenience. If there was any negative, it would be the off duty park host in our section who came out to add something to the bulletin board forgetting to put on his belt and looking more like a teenager heading to the skate park than a host. His pants were hanging so low it was way inappropriate especially with all the young kids around. We enjoyed our stay and will come again. And we'll see if there is a new host and if not I'll have an extra belt with me.

The advantage is the size…at over 200 sites you have a good chance of securing a last minute site. The disadvantage is the size…sites are so crowded together there is no privacy. Our fire ring was 15’ from our neighbors car! Beach is a five minute walk, not super close, but you can hear it all night which is soothing. Cel service, bathrooms clean.

A nice state park with level paved sites. There are some trees between sites but the sites are close together and not really private. We stayed in the A loop backed up to an undeveloped area that was nice. The path to the beach is not long but it is a fairly steep climb in soft sand which was challenging for two out of shape seniors. Once you get to the beach it is beautiful and you can walk for a long stretch. There is good cell service (AT&T) and several over the air tv channels available which came in handy during the 24 hours of torrential rain. Gotta love fall camping on the coast!

This is a very nice state park within a short walking distance of the beach. The camp ground, facilities, and the camp site were great.

We stayed in E loop in a class a motorhome. The sites are level and open with many scrub evergreen trees. The only sound we heard at night was the ocean. There was no traffic noise at all. This park is very child-friendly. There is a play structure in the center of the loop and we had a clear sight line to the area. Bathrooms are adequate. The trail to the beach is of soft sand but quite accessible. The towns of Nehalem and Manzanita are nearby with their shops and activities.

Absolutely the best state park. Location is fantastic - right next to a dune and ocean. Very quiet & even though we don’t have kids, it is a kid friendly campground. Clean & set up so easy access to the bathrooms. Lots of trees so neighbors aren’t on top of one another except for monster RVs. Checking was a bit hectic since folks are lined up starting at4 PM but staff handled check in calmly & super pleasant. Definitely would stay there again.

Verizon LTE is three to full bars. The fog/mist reduced the visibility to maybe a 1/4 mile. Deep sand on the trail to the beach. Paved sites with little privacy. Older shower house and restrooms which I didn’t use. Excellent playground for the little ones. Another nice Oregon State Park.
