Beautiful lake and campground. It’s dry camping and the water doesn’t get turned on until July so bring drinking water. Vault toilets were clean and kept well stocked. It’s a very quite campground with a mix of tents and smallish RV’s. We were there in June and the mosquitoes were THICK! No cell coverage.

Very beautiful mountain lake with stunning views. Nice Forest Service campground with well spaced sites. Clean vault toilets, overall just a great place. Note that the lake is so pristine that they do not allow any motor boats on the lake so it is very quiet. There are a few sandy beaches where you can play and swim along the lake shore. Now for the downside, this campground is overrun with mosquitos prior to Aug. 1. We came July 14th and were run out by swarms of vicious mosquitos. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the mosquitos. We could not get away from them in the evenings unless we stayed in the trailer, even repellant didn't seem to work. This is common for high cascade lakes early in the season.

Beautiful natural lake, pristine clear water. Nice campground with most of the sites near the water. Gorgeous hiking trails, lakeside benches. Average sized sites, clean bathrooms.
