Lovely spot with each site being in a warm oded area. Full hookups. Plenty of hiking and biking trails. Seems to be pet friendly . Sites are asphalt and pretty level. We were in North loop. Only 2 bathrooms. Showers not as clean as the last time we stayed here. One was missing its spout. Close to Newberry Crater area and not too far from Bend. No park rangers on site but there was a camp host. Loved being able to walk by the Deschutes River. Trash receptacle across from dump station.

Nice state park, no reservation so paid by cash in envelope. All sites full hookup, nice bathrooms (not heated), showers, clubhouse, on river, nature walks, etc. Lots to do in the area - Dessert museum, Lava park, lakes, river, close to Bend with shops and restaurants.

We had to abandon a nearby NF site as was unreachable. Even though full on a September Friday evening, they made room for us at a nice pull through spot with full service. Nice facilities, pretty park and at $29 a bargain compared to local private places. Very friendly staff and hosts, too.

Beautiful spot. Quiet and clean. Well run. Would love to go back with family.

Very nice, spacious park. Good bathrooms and showers.
Because they take reservations this park fills up. BUT we were frustrated to see numerous empty sites with reserved tags on them and people driving around looking for a place. Kind of a shame.
Trash is all collected near the entry booth.

Great park, right along the Deschutes River. Nice open spaces, wooded, well appointed with great hosts. Lots of hiking / biking trails as well!
