We stayed a few nights mid week in site #5 in our 30'TT. The camp hostess greeted us as we pulled in, and escorted us to our site. We had lovely shade and an enormous grassy space between our door and the Rogue River. The grass right around our site was dormant/tan, but nearby areas in the campground had lush green grass. Nearly everyone else was side by side in the back in sites along the south side of the campground. We felt like we had a 2 acre campsite virtually to ourselves! The tent loop looked like full sun and crispy dry conditions, if you're into that sort of thing.

We absolutely LOVE this park!! We spend 7-10 days every summer here. It芒鈧劉s nice to see the changes every year we return.
The tent area used to be overgrown with dead trees and blackberry bushes. Last year it was turned into a beautiful tent loop with river clearing views.
This is an old park at the end of the road and quite a hidden gem! We芒鈧劉ve never had any issues with the day use area. The camp hosts do a great job keeping it clean. The bathroom/showers could be updated but they are very functional.
The pull through sites are level. Sites 12-16 are at the back end and the corner is pretty sharp for larger rigs. We watched a Class A diesel pusher struggle but finally made it around that corner. We all needed to move our trucks out of his way to help. Our 23 ft travel trailer made the corner years ago but our 41ft fifth wheel we won芒鈧劉t even try it! If no one is in site 13 pulling through that site helps....they really should eliminate that little site to open up that corner for easier for turning.
We love hanging out on the banks of the river all day and get into water fights with the dinner jet boats after dinner.
We love the easy float from Baker Park. We have tubes, Tahiti's and a raft. It芒鈧劉s about a 45 minute float. There are 3 芒鈧搑apids芒鈧 along the way. We pull out just past the tent area because the boat ramp isn芒鈧劉t easy for our group to exit on.
There are plenty of places to enjoy watching the activity on the banks of the river. Unfortunately they are only paths made from years of people walking down the hills. If you have any mobility issues you won芒鈧劉t be able to get down the river banks.
The playground and dog park is off site. But if you are in a back in site there are paths up the incline that lead to those areas. Otherwise you need to leave the campground driveway and walk the road to the next driveway.
This park is very kid and dog friendly. One of our favorite spots every summer.

The rv area is quite beautiful and all surrounded by trees. The tent area, however, has barely any trees, no grass, and by comparison is much worse.

This park should get five stars for its proximity to Grants Pass and the Rogue River. The park is large, and gets dings for the sites being so close together when it really didn芒鈧劉t have to be. The Park is surrounded by housing, so you do get the typical noises from homeowners doing their yard maintenance. We had a few strange experiences with another camper who was having some issues and a big fight with another camper ensued. I would come here again, because if the proximity to a fun town, just be prepared, if you do come, for some interesting characters sharing the park with you. We felt safe, staff was good. Restrooms were clean, did not use the showers. Decent cell access here. This site is right on the Rogue, so during the fishing and summer swimming season this park could get very busy, and thus change the feel of the place.

A pleasant quiet park on the river, though no beach I am aware of. Spent one night on our way south. We used to stay at Valley of the Roque SP but in 2018 it was shockingly in decline, maybe due the homeless or junky trailers, etc. So we tried this place, and would stay here again.

Beautiful park! Huge trees, shade everywhere, gorgeous green grass. We are pulling a 35' 5th wheel and the spot I booked for us, #8, was not big enough, so the camp host quickly found is another site and it's wonderful. This is a very quiet park, right on the Rogue River. Thank you Allstays!
