Built in the area around a bend in the river this is an exceptionally great county park. The sites are huge and nestled in a thick forest. There are many well maintained paths. It reminds me of the best Boondocking but with water power and clean restrooms and showers. Verizon works but no WiFi. There is a sewage dump but not on individual sites. The river is for catch and release fishing. The park is about ten miles up in the Cascades from the town of Sweethome.
