There are 3 campground here. We stayed in Lagoon in #15, probably the only one that isn’t flat. Not too bad but still an incline. Campsites reasonably far apart with some bushes and trees in between. We biked though the other campgrounds and to the beach. Of the 3, Lagoon is the nicest. Waxmyrtle is bigger and had many more sloped sites. Many more pull through as well. I would rank that one second. Driftwood is basically a campground on two parking lots. The only reason to camp here are the direct access to the OHV trails and you can just ride up to your spot. Reminds me of football tailgate parties though. The beach is over a dune so be prepared to climb a bit. Walking from the campgrounds is doable but would take a bit of time. There is a parking lot at the beach. The bottom line is that Lagoon is nice, Waxmyrtle OK and may be necessarily if you have a toad. I would avoid Driftwood unless you bring your ATV.

Stayed Nov, 2020, only one other site was occupied, so it was very quiet. Nice camp host, but you have to make reservations to stay, supposedly due to COVID concerns. Unfortunately cell signal in Park not good enough to do that. Pick a spot, go find a signal, then go back to set up.
