We are in 40 motorhome. Good location off of the interstate & easy to find. Quite tight to get in the site but manageable. Lots of full timers. Would not recommend booking online if you have a big rig. Call the office for reservations, they were helpful for us.

Look, it鈥檚 an urban rv park. Look around at the long term, do they leave their stuff out? Don鈥檛 leave your stuff out either. The front office staff could be characters in a sit com. There is an airport right next door (Troutdale, not PDX), a highway, and trains. Maintenance is problematic - my 30 amp went out and I was not the only person with this issue. Fortunately I could connect to the 50 amp. The sewer was clogged. There was a dangerous open access opening of some kind at my site that was never covered despite my interaction with the sitcom. And then, not their fault, but the Amazon driver creatively leaves boxes at any of the 400 sites in the park and you have to go find them. There is a chocolate factory down the street that sells imperfect chocolates out of a grim shop at the front of the factory. What a place!

We stayed two nights to visit friends while heading to Spokane, WA in our 40' motorhome with CRV in tow. We have been on the road since last October, traveling from South Carolina to Florida, across to California, than north to Oregon. . . This was the MOST EXPENSIVE place we've stayed so far and no where near the nicest. We made reservations online and were placed in a spot that was too small for our 40 foot rig. When I went back to the office to ask to be moved, the office was closed for the lunch hour. We called multiple times trying to get a hold of the park host but kept getting voicemail. Not a good system there. Finally, after 30+ minutes hanging out in front of the office and calling multiple times, a lady stopped and asked if I needed help. She was very nice and directed us to another, more appropriate site. She said this happens often with online reservations. Do not make your reservations online! Especially if you are a big-rig. Call and talk with the staff and they will make sure you are booked into a proper site for your rig size. Just to clarify, the staff is very nice, just not always available when needed. Once settled in, we took a walk around and, for a so called Thousand Trails "premier resort" it's a dump! Mostly long term trailers with lots of "stuff" everywhere. We had considered buying a Thousand Trails pass, but not after seeing this place. If this is what we get, forget it! We were sorry to have booked two nights! We will never go back. We did not check out the bathhouse or laundry. We camped at Portland Fairview RV Park in a Motorhome. Do not make your reservations online! Especially if you are a big-rig. Call and talk with the staff and they will make sure you are booked into a proper site for your rig size.

Love this park. Unlike some of the posts the noise is really not bad, we find it pretty quiet at night. Also we love the way the pads are set up for parking. Cable and WiFi work really well. People in office are super friendly and helpful. They guided us on some sightseeing to places in the area that we did not know about. Would stay here again.

Older park with many full time/long term occupants. Water connection at or below grade makes for a muddy connection. Overall well maintained with sparkling pool. Park is bordered in one end by the railroad tracks and other on busy road and then air traffic overhead from PDX airport. Likely we would find a different park next time

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles! Firstly I have to say the staff was professional (if a bit aloof) and the park is IMMACULATE. The place is lovely, clean, and modern. The laundry room alone is so high tech it will text you when your laundry is done. The drawbacks are that the place is loud and bright. There are lights everywhere and it芒鈧劉s near the airport, it literally is right against the railroad tracks, and is just off a major road. All 5house factors combine to make for a rough night芒鈧劉s sleep. If light and a bit of noise don芒鈧劉t bother you then this place is great. I芒鈧劉d love to give it more than 3 stars because the place is so beautifully maintained. The light and noise were just too much for us.

Regarding office staff. We made reservations at a nearby park for 7/31-8/31 but our sister, who had a massive stroke took a turn for the worse and so we changed our plans to arrive in Portland ASAP. We were still several days away and immediately began calling only to learn every RV park in the vicinity, including this one, was fully booked. We did get one night at lovely Pheasant Ridge south of Portland but otherwise we were looking at boondocking for three additional nights until our original reservation became available. We discovered a nearby Camping World on Sandy Blvd and they went out of their way to help us including providing a hookup to electricity. It took less than an hour to set up with their help moving trucks/other RVs and getting a forklift to maneuver our travel trailer close to the electrical hookup, then off to the hospital we went. On our way back to CW, we unexpectedly drove by Portland Fairview RV Park. We turned around not hoping for much and stepped into the office to ask for a site with electric service. Debby (not Deborah) seemed puzzled by our account of our phone inquiries there as they had multiple full hookup sites available. She drew circles around at least five open sites, even wrote down their dimensions as well as how strong the WiFi would be in each site. We chose a site, paid for background checks and two night芒鈧劉s site rent (they only calculate monthly rentals from the first of the month) and, upon Debby芒鈧劉s encouragement, moved our rig from CW to Fairview. When the background check results came in, Debby called us and asked us to drop by the office in the morning to complete our paperwork and pay the balance due. When my husband and I entered the office the next morning, we received quite a different reception from Deborah. She continued to work on her computer without acknowledging us. We waited until she spoke and explained the above. We completed a lengthy lease agreement and Deborah informed us that we needed to provide vaccination records and city registration documents for our dog and insurance information for our truck and travel trailer. I hurried back to the rig and retrieved the documents and even called our insurance company (Liberty Mutual) to be sure we had the $100k liability coverage for the RV that was required. Bingo! We had it. After receiving confirmation, I ran back to the office and I must admit I was expecting we would soon complete the requirements for our stay and we芒鈧劉d be off to the hospital in a jiff. Deborah very gruffly denied we had the appropriate coverage for the RV. I tried to explain I had just called my insurer...she asked who Liberty Mutual was...she芒鈧劉d never heard of them. (we芒鈧劉re from Florida). I offered to call them again but Deborah said we芒鈧劉d have to provide something in writing otherwise we芒鈧劉d be charged the nightly rate for our entire stay rather than the monthly we were trying to sign up for. I called Liberty Mutual from the office in an effort to obtain the written proof but Deborah became more insistent...she just kept repeating the travel trailer isn芒鈧劉t attached to the truck, we were not in compliance. I was having a hard time hearing the insurance agent. So I said to both the insurance agent and to Deborah (still talking over me) that I was happy to make whatever adjustments to our policy that was needed and that I would pay whatever was necessary to bring us into compliance but Deborah kept reciting the same phrase...芒鈧漣t芒鈧劉s not attached. It芒鈧劉s not attached.芒鈧 I芒鈧劉m sorry but I was so frustrated that I melted into tears and got so embarrassed that I gathered the papers, my purse and the phone, went out to my husband who was waiting in the truck, gave it all to him and made my way back to our rig just a mess. When you芒鈧劉re worried, it芒鈧劉s hard to deal with someone who won芒鈧劉t stop and hear that you are doing all you know to do to appease them. This has been the most awful encounter we have had in our three years of RV-ing. We have always marveled at how friendly and caring everyone we芒鈧劉ve met while traveling has been. For whatever frustrations Deborah endures, I wish her well but unless you have very thick skin, please be aware that you will likely not enjoy working with Deborah. So sorry this is long.

Review is only for staff... When park was full and asked if there were any others in the area they would recommend.... Got a snotty "I have no idea" .... Attitude is everything. The other local parks happily recommended we call here, so guess it sent reciprocal.

My 3 star review is for the same reason many others are unhappy with. Not the park per say, The restrictions that are newly imposed by Oncore. our rig is 2006 Winne, Tour and is in perfect shape. We also put several thousand inside in upgrades. Our yacht is at the Columbia and this park made it convenient to get to. What a shock as we had been here many times and hoped to spend summers here on a semi perm basis. Guess not. Sad.
