Overall a clean park near town and the beach. The reason I booked with them was the proximity to the ocean. When I called before I booked, I was told it was a short walk to the beach where we could surf. Sadly this was not the case or our ideas of a short walk are vastly different. It was a good 25 minutes hike to the ocean which is tricky carrying g gear and having little ones with you. Has I known it was so far, I would have opted for another park.
It is very tight, both the sites and the ability to drive and park. I am beside the road at the entrance and had to block the main intersection into town to back into the site and our trailer is only 23’. There is only one road in/our so I had another rig blocking the road waiting for us to unhitch before they could get past. Very stressful and frustrating for us both.
Lots of wild rabbits and the kids loved visiting the horses at the stables.
Overall impressions are that it is overpriced considering the price includes only two people per site! We had to pay $4 each for our children and another $4 for our dog for each night. I am still shocked about this as we have stayed in dozens of RV parks all over Canada and America and never encountered an extra few for kids in my own RV. Outrageous. I think it’s too much for what the park has to offer considering how squashed in we are, no wifi at the site, the age and condition of the park and the location.
I will look elsewhere next time I’m in Cannon beach.

This park is tired and scruffy. It needs to be spruced up. Everywhere we’ve gone in Oregon, including great RV park near Portland, has had flowers everywhere. Not here, or any other ascetics. The park doesn’t fit with the sophisticated vibe of the area. Our site was across from garbage dump. The sites seem haphazardly organized, or disorganized. Not a fan.

$50 for no cable, no wifi at our location and a cramped site is not my idea of a good deal. Last time we stay here!

Very nice park, the noise we heard was surf, not freeway! Lots of green grass, trees, rural feeling. Walk to Cannon Beach was a real plus, easy. Would go again.

My husband and I stayed here Aug 11-13, 2014. Perhaps because it was still the height of the tourist season, our site location was right beside the roadway and wifi was poor. On the upside, the staff were really friendly and accommodating....the best part being that the campground is only a short 15 minute walk to the main downtown core where all the boutique shops and restaurants are and access to one of the best picturesque and walkable beaches on the Oregon Coast!
